    This is just a prime example of why women should never be in charge of anything.

    My problem: I posted first, they took about 40 hours until they replied which happened to be maybe 5 hours before the schedule lock. Their reply wasnt for 1pm sunday it was for fucking Saturday. So if I didn't deny their Saturday request and just let it stand like that, are you saying I would have got my time I requested because I know you wouldn't manually put the game Saturday because my squad would strangle you with your own hair. Or what? I want this shit cleared up. It's already the first week in regular season and there is still no way to change your time request on the TWL site. I thought all the "major" things were dealt with. Not even the minor things are.

      I never said all major things are delt with, i said most are in place FFS...
      In this thread replying to ease i've said that scheduling needs work...

      I never said it was perfect, and it wont be perfect until we use it more and i get rid of all the bugs from it, i was reluctant to do to much to it

        Their first reply (the Sat. match) was 22 hrs before the scheduling lock. You repeated your request for 4 pm Sunday again, and they responded with Sunday at 1. Then you repeated 4 pm again. Nice try.

        Editing or removing a time request does need to be added, but this issue is separate from your case, since you clearly did not want to offer a different time.

            Previous TWL winners should get preference if no agreement can be made..

            Same goes with squad in all 3 leagues, maybe even 2.

              well the previous TWL winner in LD dissolved and became sake, which is still not the same squad, so your arguement here does not work in that league, and should not work in other leagues

                Just a suggestion, but instead of having the scheduling page say 'NEGOTIATIONS FAILED' and then wait for a TWL Op to set the correct time, why not make it automatically accept the time? I'm sure this was the intended purpose anyway.

                For example, Syne posted Mon Jan 5th 3:23pm (EST) that they wanted the game at 4 PM, but I was busy and did not accept/deny their time within 48 hours. Negotiations failed, however instead of being stuck with their time, I noticed that Penetrate sent out a 4 pm EST request for the LB game (on Tuesday) so I accepted it. Now we have a 4 pm game against penetrate in LB and Syne is effectively screwed out of their time.

                Obviously, I would not point out that I did this if I did not want you to fix the system. While it is nice for three league squads such as Thunder since it allows us to manipulate scheduling to get our times, it hurts one league squads such as Syne. I'm pretty sure that you intended to have the time set once negotiations failed anyway, so you should probably set it to that.

                  The reason i removed the automatic accept was because my checks were flawed...
                  It was wide open to abuse, mainly from squads denying match times and forcing times last minute or by a few other manipulative ways...

                  When i have time to sit down and think about it more i will redo the checks and re-enable the automatic accept if Negotiations fail...
                  Plus i think i've been pretty good/prompt so far at accepting Fail negotiations? No? I havnt seen mirr on in awhile and needed to check if my admin panel i made for her worked...

                    Thanks for taking care of it.

                    By the way, I noticed when removing players from TWL roster and you select 'cancel' that it doesn't actually cancel. It says Player Kicked instead! May want to fix that before someone screws up big time.


                    EDIT: I wasn't rubbing it in or anything, i was just making a point to why it should be fixed. While we have the players to play two games at once, I would appreciate it if you would open up scheduling once more or assign a different time so we aren't forced to do that. I figured you guys would set them both at 4 PM after the post, and you didn't disappoint

                        Thing is i set ur Failed game before you accepted 4pm cos it was the 1st game that had a failed negotiation!

                        Why didn't Thunder check on their LD times before 48hours were up?

                            Possibly, it's never been brought up, cos it wasn't thought it would ever be an issue?
