dude, have you seen half my posts on these forums? I don't see how I'm kissing ass here. Exalt is my buddy, he's attacking a group of people I've enjoyed playing with for the past several years (euro basers - passion/sage/diso etc) - so instead of just attacking back, im trying to mediate seeing how I consider both parties to be my friends.

Are you saying that when I win games in base and such it's because of lag? I like to think all the time I put into sharking might actually have some positive results.

Yeah, at those times ppl had like 512kb or 1M connection. Now i'm looking at huge numbers between 24M and 110M. I think staff should be allowed (dunno if they are) to remove players from game if they see spiking, lots of eating, invisible bombs, ect. Sometimes it happens to everyone but if it continues and affects the game.

Unfortunatly they also invented "Traffic Shaping" and as Continuum uses an encrypted protocol...some stupid isps don't like it...they think it might be a way of sharing files.... It also enables them to sell you a 24Mb connection but in reality its impossible to use more than 1-2Mb to save them money...most people dont notice the con that is being done to them!

I acctually had to change ISP to continue to play this game, because my previous ISP was "shaping" continuum so much i was getting contant 5% ploss and high ping on a 8Mb conntaction. The best thing was they blamed it on me/my phone line/my modem, basically just lying to me. Exactly Same setup with a new ISP and "surprisingly" everything is great...but i'm lucky i have the choice...not all areas do.

I think it's funny how Americans in general (not everyone, but a majority) seems to think that this is an American game. When the server was in Europe "we" were still the evil laggots, despite the fact that we were the ones with a low ping to the server. Back in those days there weren't any strict lag limits, everyone in the world got to play. Even though Priitk created this game, the game isn't European. There has been contributions from the entire world to this game from the start, and because of that no continent can claim any form of superiority. When the server got moved to USA the limits got stricter, and suddenly you shouldn't be allowed to play TWL anymore because the server got moved far away.

You complain about lag either way, when you had the bad ping, we were the ones that destroyed the game with our lag. When the roles got reversed and we were the ones with a bad ping you throw in automatic bot filters, and we are still blamed even though it's the exact opposite as it used to be.

I did see the entire match, as did Weak. We wrote the HoN section about sake vs disoblige game. You did not +1, I said that as a general statement... displaced had +1s, its the same thing, neither of you would have changed the game enough to win it, you have bad players on your squad

Brokenfist actually lags out alot in TWD games already, he just managed to stabalize his lag for once for TWL, which was pretty fishy... apparently when there are mods watching him his lag is stable and he does not eat, and when mods are not watching him he is not stable and eats nonstop... but of course your squad isn't smart enough to notice things like that

BF doesn't lag out a lot in TWD games... what I've seen from him in TWL, he still had spike and ate shots, so hmmm that really is out of the question.

Actually I CAN blame you for natural lag because of the distance, because all of us Western Hemisphere players had to deal with the same things when server was in Finland. We didn't lag out. You do. Fix your connection and stop pulling the plug.

This is just a blunt statement that shows what kind of retard you are.
The reason you could stay in was that the laglimits weren't even close to as strict as they are now. Just a minor natural spike in connection can make you get specced now which is ridiculous, because honestly I couldn't and cannot notice the difference between a 5 ms spike med. or a 25 ms spike med. A guy like Might doesn't lag to me at all, while guys like dald, stayon and brokenfist for example do. So really limiting this spike med isn't helping since that is not the only thing that causes visible lag... And it isn't lag that we want riddance of, but lag that disrupts the game in a bad way, it isn't lag itself we do not want in, it is lag that shows eats, late bombs and bad spikes.

Actually the ones that tell you that you lag are the ones that know what to look for, since players like me had to deal with it for years when server was in Finland. A lot of times I could not play due to lag actually. If you notice your lag sucks, don't play. Simple. Crying that the lag limits should all be less strict is retarded, because TWL would turn into a lag fest then. I suppose that's exactly what you want, however.

TWL has been a lagfest the last couple of years and the guys that won visibly ate the most and spiked the worst. So yes I do think TWL hasn't been about just skill the past seasons, it has been about lagging more a lot aswell, or I should word this better: using your lag to your advantage most. However the last few years there is a trend of people starting to lag more because they realise they could use it to their advantage and that is something we do not want. A high ms is noticable just like a spike, and a spike of 25 ms is hardly noticable... But I have to go drink beer till I have to crawl home now so please do not respond if you do not have a brain.
