alright since it doesn't look like anything's been done yet about this upcoming weekend, i decided to try to organize a big warzone event between all the twlb squads. the event will take place this sunday, i'm not too sure when yet because pirates, who's invited, also has an ld that day. plus since it is ld playoffs i don't want to take away anyone from watching the games. so in all likelihood we'll have to play after they're done playing or before or something, i'm not sure.
i know this event was held quite a few seasons ago so if anyone from back then has any advice to offer in the organization, please do. what i thought should happen is instead of having each squad sport a team by themselves (this would likely lead to two rounds, followed by a final round. in other words, a gigantic consumption of time), we would make two squads play together, thus giving us four teams with two squads each. the team pairings were randomly drawn from a hat.
the number of players for each team is 16. this is a number that's up for debate though. if people think 4 teams of 16 for warzone is too much, then that's fine, we can cut it down. if you think it's too little we can increase it, just give me some feedback on that. ideally, each squad would play 8 players. however, let's say spastic and thunder were paired together, but spastic only showed 6. then thunder would be able to play 10. i don't think this should be a problem though, because 8 people on a sunday isn't a very demanding number.
since mainliner and basingcrew both dissolved we have to take two squads from twd. i thought pandora would be a good replacement for mainliner since they are the same squad, and for basingcrew i went with final since they're currently #1 in twd.
the winner will get free blowjobs for life from duel pasta.

i've talked to pandora, spastic, dice, and thunder and they're all in. can a cap from disoblige, pirates, and final confirm as well? if you don't want to then i'm sure brainwave would be happy to take one of these squad's places. captains remember to tell your players to come on for sunday (at whatever time is announced in a couple days or whatever).
