Don't worry about it dude. The chances are good that if it had been the other way around and Pirates had won, and Quake had been screwed through the same bug, that Pirates would be doing the same thing.. I'd probably do it just to piss ignite off. I can understand why they were frustrated, and so were we. It was an error that shouldn't have occurred and it created a lot of unnecessary frustration for both squads. In the end, Quake outplayed us for sure and they deserved the win. That said, your captain is the kind of dude that I love to hate, so I'll be pulling for Thunder this weekend.

Hi Weaver. If you paid attention to any of my posts rather than rambling your mindless and blind hatred, you would know that I said that the appeal was legitimate. My only point is that Quake is a much better team that outplayed you guys 3-1. Also, by the time the sub was made Pirates already had the round lost.

lol...wow did you seriously just use the phrase "reductio ad absurdum"? im not even gonna argue about TWL in this post, especially cuz u didnt refute my arguments in anyway except for editing losing to thunder by a very large number to a barely smaller number.

anyway havent you learned the basic rules of writing an essay? dont use words that 99% of people dont know...or are in latin or whatever that shit is because it makes your writing boring and nobody wants to read a paper with words they might need to look up. chances are they wont and you lose out on what could be a decent point so why even risk looking pompous. come on seriously "reductio ad absurdum"???? i can guess it has something to do with reducing something absurd but im not even going to look it up because i know 100% i will never hear it again in my life. so that sentence/argument just lost all meaning to me and probabaly anyone else who reads that post.

you are probabaly one of those people who writes an essay and uses shift f7 at the end to big up their vocab. word of advice: it doesnt help and you'll get a worse grade

What? Did you read my post? I didn't suggest that you had claimed the appeal wasn't legitimate. If anything I was actually siding with Quake by saying Pirates would probably be doing the same thing if our circumstances were reversed. Hell, I even said we were outplayed. You are right though, I haven't read any of your posts (the above being the exception), but why would I when responding to Chuckle's post? If anything I was actually siding with Quake by saying Pirates would probably be doing the same thing if our circumstances were reversed. Hell, I even said we were outplayed. Yes I know it wasn't actually 3-1, but I do say we would have won the round anyway even if that sub didn't go bad. I've played enough rounds in twl to know when we/I have a good "feeling" going about the round and when not. That round we were clearly playing better than you guys, so I'm prettyy sure we would have won it anyway, hell even I was playing great that round. The whole point of it being pretty sick imo is that you guys got the round neglected in which we were clearly better, and had a better chance to win it all. We all know squads tend to comeback after a lost round and the guys winning 1st round can often lose 2nd (or it will be closer than 1st) but can comeback on their own in 3rd. This time we didn't have the option for that, we kinda lost the good momentum we had cause the round was forfieted. I hope you get my point.

Yes I know if it was the other way around, it would still suck. But I'm with weaver here, I think it sucks to replay a round for ANY REASON, whoever wins the round. More fair would have been to replay the round from the point onwards when it was fucked, ie the sub. That would be fair. So even if it was the other way around, I'd still think it screws the winning squad that round. Shouldn't happen in playoffs at least. :fear:
