New TWL-D Squad

Hi,

Just to let everyone know, Forbidden disbanded yesterday and as such dropped out of TWL (TWL-D was the only division they were in).

They have been replaced by Dragonguard which has just accepted our invitation. Dragonguard was the top rated TWDD team on the ladder that was not in TWL, and had more than 10 TWDD games under their belt.

Please note that is the only criteria we will use to invite squads into TWL as outlined in the official rules.

Because Dragonguard has joined before the official commencement of the season, they will enjoy the benefits of starting with a fresh record just like everyone else and will have their first TWL-D Preseason game tomorrow at 3pm EST vs. Immolate (the game which was previously scheduled as Forbidden vs. Immolate).

Shouldn't replacement squads be picked depending on the same ladder positions when first new TWL squads were picked. As I see now DG was picked by their rank in TWDD ladder at the time Epi checked it not the rank they had when other squads were picked so this leaves place for cheating squads in. Im not saying this staff actually cheated them in but then u should have had let other squads now theres a free spot so they can try to get it and they should have set a date when the new squad should be picked. Now how do we know staff(DG also staff members in it) just didn't wait untill DG reaches the rating to be the best from squads not in TWL and then announce that they replace. Im pretty sure DG wouldnt have made it if it was picked from the same ladder other squads were picked.

umm because Forbidden dissolved yesterday so they replaced them with the squad that was at the top currently. It's the only thing that makes any sense to do, delaying the leagues even more to have a competition for the dissolved spot would piss off so many people, don't even want to consider that. If other squads were better than Dragonguard and deserve the spot more... well they should be above them in the ladder, that's what the ladder is for.

And besides Epi and Push aren't corrupt individuals.

Sleepy, how can you be so sure? My squad and some other squads were above DG in 9th of April when all squads were picked. The new squad should have been picked from that ladder even more because they will start as a regular TWL squad. Bah, this sucks major ass

I agree this is kinda weird. So now I have to play twjd with Egyptian because squads get picked from the recent twjd ladder, instead of the old one from where squads were picked. Whether Dragonguard is better or not than Burning rose isnt important, Burning rose deserves the spot according to the ladder from april.

Well copy I think DragonGuard deserves its place in TWL, there will always be other teams complaining no matter what they will do.

They aren't standing in top 10(current #8) on TWD ladder for nothing, while your squad is not even in top 20.

I'm sure they will prove that they belong there!

zippy we didn't get in leagues by the ladder of 9th april so we didnt give a fuck about TWD and played it just for our enjoyment unlike we did before when we were 12th or something. Also wondering how comes a rather inactive squad like DG become really active and got into top10 in really short time. Makes me think they knew about the spot unlike my squad. Oh well...

this is just right. squad needs to be active all the time and play well. Not just to some timemark. Why would twl-staff pick squads from april stats because things have changed?? lol?
