TWL Week 2 Delayed

I'm very sorry about this. Anyone who played this week realized that the website is not fully completed yet and that there are still some bugs to be worked out overall.

On the bright side the bot issues we were having on Saturday seemed to have been mostly corrected. I'd like to give 2dragons a HUGE thanks for that as he spent most of yesterday making the bots perfect and even running around 6 full length test games.

I'd also like to thank our hosts this weekend who got through the first round unscathed

But because of some website problems and because of the fact that both Pusher and I will be out of town next weekend, we've decided to delay round 2 for a week. So that's right everyone... go out and spend some time with your mothers next weekend instead of worrying about TWL!

truer words were never spoken. i'm sure most of the tw league participants would have rather waited and extra week or two before starting the league instead of dealing with delays after it started. however, i'm glad that this delay falls on a holiday. people will be doing family stuff, so attendance wouldn't be all that great.

anyways, i blame strike for being an asshat.

do you really think that was worth saying?

don't you realize there is always a flip side to the coin? just telling epi to ignore everyone who presented a view opposite to yours does not prove that a bad decision was made.

there were just as many people wanting to get it started right away as there were willing to wait, if not more.

it's just one week, get over it.

Next weekend is mother's day. You'll be home with family.

And the next weekend is an actual holiday (canadian) that will actually affect how some squads perform.

I am glad we got matches in this weekend. Missing a week kind of sucks, but it would suck more if TWL still had not started. Squads can still get in there prac through TWD and twl coordinaters can spend more time making sure bots, website etc are ready to go.

Haha just kidding.. Let's try to be friendly and calm. Let's all be very calm. That or find Epi and beat him up. I'm really fond of the guy though so let's not resort to that.

Of course now not starting TWL when we did looks like the obvious choice. Epinephrine and PUSHER made the best decision they could given the situation. I'm happy they decided to quit before we have any serious problems. You all better practice up because I intended to give you a run for your money once this all gets worked out. Hopefully when everything thing is up and running we will have a working system for all time? So far it seems every season is completely differen't... Next season will we still be using this integrated website and the same bots? If we do this all will really pay off.

I have never seen a TWL season organized better than this one (and its only a week old go figure). Waiting one week to make it better doesnt matter to me.
