Better management was always available, as ph has been around for quite a while. You made a couple blatant 'errors' and any time you have a call go in your favor that you make then brag about the result you're going to catch shit for it. Obviously you havent let this get to you since you are still proud of your achievement on stray. There's a huge difference though in running TWL, which only someone that is on fairly high on staff can do, and writing hot or not, which literally anyone can do.

On you being TWL op I personally disagreed with your policy of shrinking the league when ph is proving this year that the league could have been expanded or at least maintained (at least i think you shrunk league invites, correct me if im wrong). I agreed with your policy not to replay games unless it was absolutely unfair during the regular season though because people in this community have the tendency to cry bloody murder if someone abuses a +1 sub in a meaningless game that they were going to lose anyway. Ease comes to mind when I think of notorious whiners that just cry about everything (I've only really ever cried one time in season 9, because it was obvious what happened to us). So really besides one or two calls i dont think it was 'terrible' but maybe a bit biased

ph wasn't staff when i ran my first twl. also, i'm not really sure we can critique the job ph has actually done yet as it's been 2 weeks of twl. my twls had hot or not.. not just posts on a forum. they also had twlm. i have a feeling that this will also feature a bunch of dropout squads.

Well you dont know much about how leadership works which i cant blame you for, but to give you a decent enough parallel when nukes were accidentally frown from minot AFB, MT to barksdale AFB, LA who do you think lost their jobs as a result? The technicians responsible for loading them on the plane? No, they were decertified. Their wing commander was the first to go, and then soon following him were the chief of staff of the air force and the secretary of the air force. When you are in charge of something you pretty much own the product, good or bad. You can try blaming the people who you talked to to make those decisions but ultimately people will see it as your decision as the head operator. How many numerous dropout squads do you see? I only see one in LD and thats serenity, and theyre fairly capable of showing 5 each week but paladen im sure could replace them...or position if need be. I'm not well-versed in other leagues though - have their been forfeits so far? It would actually surprise me if there werent seeing as how the TWL season is going at the same time as the NFL this year.

I also dont think anyone here has the skillset to manage TWLM i have time enough to set aside to update it but it's too late and when we tried the system was pretty broken with MVPs anyway. as for HoN all that the thing was on the site was a copy/paste from forum with no room for comments which are arguably the best part of hot or not (see earlier in thread)

It's unfair to critique ph at all for any dropouts or for TWLM. In all fairness, the populace of TW and this game in general has been in a (fairly) steady decline since I started playing the zone in 2003, and as far as TWLM goes, isn't that QS + BlackMage's department this season anyhow?

As far as Hot or Nots go, I would only echo what has been said so far. If you don't like what you're reading, write your own. Nothing is stopping you except yourself.

yes, i know nothing about management, even though i've captained a squad in twd for how many years straight? come on now, that's a terrible argument. a better argument might be i cared more about the management about my squad than running twl? (and yes, that is also a terrible argument because i made zero input on anything regarding my squad, as any bias would obviously be unfair, either way. if i say x player can't play, then i'm being bias against my own squad and the players on it. but of course, you'll just come up with some bullshit cause you're mad i won and you haven't)

either way, one squad gone. and this hard on for the nfl is getting old. does no one have a computer near a tv? each play is like 7 seconds. it's not hard to multitask.
