The biggest issue i see, is that many of our inactive players and hangers-on come back for the massive TWL Finals day, thats the days where we get 200+ showing up to watch the finals. The zone benefits. By seperating it, you take away from that.

How does the zone benefit by getting inactive players who are interested enough to log once a year, but only if all 3 finals are on that day?

It's just typical staff (of any zone) thinking far outside the box of rational expectations. It's a video game, regardless of how old it is, simply put. You set a date, people will show, sort of like Field Of Dreams, pun intended.

I've seen this happen in other zones, where one inept staff member thinks of this cockeyed scheme of getting more people to show up for some particular event and it always ending up backfiring, that, or not completely working as expected. Logically, it's a sound idea, though, the concept would work nonetheless, being it started and/or ended sooner than later.

What I don't get is why all the hype about getting more people to watch a match? As stated in the above post, even if more people show up to these matches doesn't mean they'd stick around and start playing; begin or restart to play.

1stly that silly stargazer. This is TWL, u dont postpone all of us for a month+ just so u can get a high population for 1 day lol Besides how does it benefit the zone? If they are inactive vets they'll just go inactive rite after? Besides if they are checking when finals are, most likely they'll still loggin both times.

Just resume in january? lol Thats silly thats a whole month++ Off for the LB squads..

I'd rather go with what KK said and let LB/LJ just play through and let LD go on its own course. This idea is much much better then making all squads have a 1 month break. You could take this weekend coming off (thanksgiving) and still get the playoffs in b4 christmas probably.
