Finals Scheduling

So I've been informed that apparently we have to stick to this 'strict' time schedule for the finals. If a round finishes early we have to sit around and wait until the next time slot. Can we please just finish the game as quickly as possible and not be forced to wait? Normally I wouldn't care but when I initially scheduled the LD game for 4 PM and suddenly I see a 5:30 time slot up it's rather irritating. HMS told me that it was necessary because of Burnt's running last year, which makes no sense given the circumstances (we don't play in the time slots right after our first game).

When you take into account the 7 minutes devoted to adding a line in LB and the fact that it can last up to 30 minutes, the 30 minute time slots for basing may not even be enough. I really don't want the time of our LD game to be even further pushed back. At least use the 2/3:30/5 system, it would make more sense.

Ya I agree it makes no sense. Once a round is finished, move on and start the next one. Who's silly idea is it to make this an all day event... this is not the superbowl we are dealing with here. Trench Center with Clownboy89 will be starting at 10am as well right? lol

I can't edit so I have to waste another post. I set the LD for 4 PM and now suddenly have to potentially have a third round at 5:30 PM? What the fuck? That's not cool at all. Also, what the HELL is 1:30 PM? Are you fucking with me? This is pretty repetitive but I just wanted to further display my annoyance.

Yet another post. If you're going to be adamant about the time slots, then set the slots for 4/4:30/5 for LD. Cut us some fucking slack here, the game was initially set for 4 PM anyway. Our games shouldn't be scheduled around getting the most spectators.

these are the default times and they're set this way to prevent any overlap because these are the fucking finals and i don't care what anyone says, i'm not starting a second final while one is in progress, in the third round no less

now, if lj or lb happen to finish in two rounds, i will talk to the captains of the squads participating in the league that's scheduled to follow and with their consent we can begin that game in the next available slot rather than having everyone sit on their hands for 30+ minutes, the idea was to get the times as close to what everyone wanted as possible while keeping a steady stream of games going for the spectators

Really? There's actually quite a big difference. If the game started at 4 PM and went on without any retarded waiting periods it would be over before 5. If it starts at 4:30 and we're forced to sit and wait for the stupid fucking time slots to roll around the third round would start at 5:30. That means for the uneducated that it would finish at nearly 6 PM. 6 PM would be 1 AM for Raspi, so yes I'd say 1 hour is a big difference. Go back and check the LD times for all of our games this season. I'm pretty damn sure I've avoided EVER scheduling a 5 PM game since it's a terrible time for my squad.

5 PM is a very risky time for my squad, since potentially up to 2 starters will have to leave after that time. If I had known you were going to allow the spectators to schedule our games for us then maybe I would have pushed for an earlier time. Thanks for telling us what was going on after you already set the times up though, really helpful. I'm sorry that I scheduled a game for 4 PM and actually expected it to be played at 4 PM, what a mistake. Scheduling is also a bigger deal for Thunder since we have to play in two finals, so give me a break already.
