No, and I am not trolling when I say you guys look like huge fucking faggots for trying to get this appeal passed. This isn't about following rules, this is about being a general douche about the situation and not just admitting that you were beaten by a better team. They were at a disadvantage because of their fuck up and yet you still want to come here and claim "well we need to follow these rules down to a t" when its obvious its a fucking retarded use of the rule. What I took away from this situation, staff punished Cape for breaking a rule while simultaneously not following their own rules, epitomizing hypocrisy. Although someone labeled it ‘whining’, I posted a possible solution for re-visiting the rules and removing sections where the punishment is defined. Punishments could be left for consideration after review(s) have had time to be completed. I doubt this, or anyone else’s suggestions, will be considered.

Cape subbed in for me, then subs himself out for Maketso, and then decided to go agaisnt of what ppl told him, use our last sub on Merce, and decided to test if the bot would let him to add or not."

one person took action on his own against the squad's will, so to answer you..again, this was the mistake. Like I said, I cant be next to cape to hit him and stop him to write "!sub maketso:merce". You obviously here and yesterday wanted a punishment for the entire squad because thats what "rules say" instead of using common sense on this particular case, so answer the question I asked you..what would be the right punishment then? forfeit? something else? Well I thought cape accidentally added merce, and I thought if i accidentally added someone not in twl roster, realized my mistake and changed it in 3 seconds, that a forfeit would be over the top. Banning me personally for 2 games wouldn't make me too happy either. Now, if I added someone who I knew was not on roster just to see what happens, then yeah, I'd have to be pretty dumb to do that and banning me personally does not seem like overkill. Although I think a team forfeit of the game seems like too much, it's in the rules so I don't think anyone would think it to be as out of line as we did.

I think most people who thought this appeal should be killed did so under the assumption that Cape made a mistake and didn't know merce was not on roster. Or that he meant to add somene else who's name started with "M" like maketso. If he did know, and did the add just for kicks, it would probably change a lot of opinions, though perhaps not staff's. Perhaps ephemeral is right and the rules should be altered to include a line that says the team will forfeit if a rule-breaking "changes the impact of the game in any way." Ephemeral, the reason you come off as a whiner to me is when you start calling people hypocrites, asking that the staff be punished, and in general all the arguing for the appeal even after you said "That being said, I do not support Traumua+ appealing this game." If you don't think the appeal should be granted, well then state your shit and stop talking down to everyone like they lack discipline.

Sorry, I just suck at communicating this way. I never thought that Cape should be punished, I never thought that Dice should be either. I brought those things up in a effort to illustrate what I perceived as inconsistencies in the some of the logic being applied.
So please allow me to reiterate my opinion. If I were staff I would have chosen one of the following;
1. If the rule was not broken, then neither Cape or Dice should be punished.
2. If the rule was broken, then the punishment should be as it was defined in the rules.
3. If the rule doesn’t really apply for whatever decent reasons, then there should have been no punishment. Instead, acknowledge the rules sucks, apologize, and then fix the rules.

IMO, the worse outcome would be to do what happened. ‘Kind of’ punish, admit no wrong with the rules, and just move on leaving the bad rules in place to come back up in the future.
