the quality wasn't what i was expecting on the TWLD videos so whatever, i'll just make them an .avi file and hope the quality is good enough to satisfy the average viewers. shouldn't take too long to render 3 rounds of TWLD and upload them to youtube.

Well, the lj movie you posted is really fine for me, its quality that is - chat and names are readable, so i don't think going beyond that is that important.

i'm a perfectionist at times, but for now i will settle with a mediocre quality. i will keep the uncompressed (rather, almost perfect) video files for myself to play around with at some point. i'll try to figure out how to convert a camtasia recorder document to .mkv/.avi without the loss of any quality, but i find it unlikely to find out how to do that.
