a few seasons back I think the rule stated both squads should use the same lineup in case of a rematch. it doesnt seem to be there anymore.

i can't speak for the rest of the squad but i'm fine with using the same lineup. win or lose doesn't matter that much. if we win vs juans next weekend we will finish as 5th, if we lose to them we will finish 6th no matter what.

If you're going to make it a rematch due to to the alleged deciding factor being lag, you should really mandate that the same lineup is fielded by both teams. No point in giving revenge an advantage when pandora didn't even do anything wrong.

To be honest theres actually no point in granting this appeal but thats a non issue now I guess

This appeal isn't to rip on Pandora or the lag. Whateve,r shit happens. BUT that lag gave an unfair advantage to Pandora.

We asked early in the game. LIKE the start of game for them to do something about Turban. It took them to the end of the game for them to deal with it. It should have been dealt with RIGHT then and there. This appeal isn't ripping on Pandora for playing Turban or not subbing him quickly. THey subbed him quickly when asked. It's on the host/twlops who took their time in deciding what to do about it. The response time was terrible. That's what we're appealing. The fact they made a mistake in not spectating or requesting he be subbed a lot quicker. If he had been dealt with, we wouldn't have this issue. But instead they took forever in dealing w/ it, so here we are.

At this point, it is what it is. Is it possible to request that we have Reckful host every game from here on out then? Because it seems as it doesn't matter who fucks up.. This isn't our fault or revenge's fault...This is all on Tiny. Since this isn't the first issue with staff and twl.. One of the head ops needs to step up and take responsibility. .This season has been full of inconsistencies and it's killing twl and the zone more and more every week. How do we expect competition and fun to exist if the game is being killed from the top down?

also damn, that's a turn-up for the books - once again staff failed to look before they leap resulting in a nonsensical appeal being granted. lovely. while this appeal was quite a sight, the outcome regrettably proved once again that we have the wrong group of players running TWL, at this point it would be a fool's errand to even attempt to salvage this season.

there's no denying that i had severe lag issues in the match against revenge. truthfully speaking there wasn't much i could do to fix my connection in such a short period of time. i didn't expect my ISP to have lag issues during the weekend, sorry about that. there was two things i could have done to possibly fix all of my lag issues, but regrettably there wasn't enough time to do either one.

1. most likely connecting to a VPN would have solved most of my issues. unfortunately my subscription to a premium VPN service ended over two weeks ago meaning this really wasn't an option at the time. i don't need one at the moment and paying $11/mo for one match is a bit too much.
2. changing to a different internet connection. i'm currently paying for two internet connections ran by different ISPs. my other connection seemed to be fine at least when i checked it after the match.

ah well, you wanted a replay and one you shall one. perhaps it's time for me to stop terrorizing my team on purpose and actually focus on my opponents for once.

rule, i'm enthralled by your bittersweet posts on these forums. i wish you the best of luck in life and hope that you'll never change as a person. i'm not entirely sure where all this hatred is coming from as we don't even know each other. oh well.

well what were we supposed to do then? you were bouncing everywhere, i think enough people saw that. i sent a request probably within one minute of the game starting. all i got back was 'it is within limits' from tiny. anyone with a quarter of a brain that was watching the game saw that you were bouncing everywhere. had they responded immediately and specced you, the game would have gone on. eventually they determined your lag was enough to request that you get a sub i suppose. why they couldnt have made that determination before the game was already decided was the grounds of the appeal.

so make that what you will.

Or is the perspective that as long as a player doesn’t lag out and as long as some random staffer says ‘its within limits’ then it is ok to play and fuck whatever anyone else sees or says?

If I had been in that position I would have specced myself and asked my squad to replace me. This would have been out of consideration for my squad, the other team, TWL, and the zone itself. Do you not feel that this kind of consideration is worthwhile?

honestly it doesn't matter if we replay the match as the result will most likely be the same - not trying to be disrespectful by any means, it's just how i value our roster over yours. all i can say that i'm just extremely disappointed at staff due to the way they handled this situation. if i'm lagging just tell me. no one told me about it, not one single enemy member, staffer or team mate for 10 minutes. i would have gladly benched myself if i had known how bad my lag looked like in game.

when i was added to the game everything looked to be fine. while my latency wasn't the greatest it was still okay (recall it being around 170ms) and my packet loss was low. everyone on my screen, excluding cross and dreamwin, had normal latency. no one was spiking or jumping. i saw a couple of eats every now and then but that much is to be expected when you play from europe.

regrettably i don't have any access to spike information as i'm not a staff member. there wasn't a single opponent or staff member who let me know that i'm lagging, how the hell am i supposed to know how bad my lag is if everything looks normal on my screen? nevertheless, this season doesn't matter too much to me. i'm not playing to win games in javelin, i'm just trying to have fun for that short 15 minute period and trying to make the games exciting.

sorry if my lag was too much for you to handle, but rest assured it should be way better (as in lower) when we replay our match next week.
