Please make announcements about the change of TWL format when playoffs come

I believe this is the first year TWL is doing BO3 for all leagues in all playoff games, not just the finals. You guys put it in the rules, but it would be nice to have a reminder when playoffs start the next time so it does not catch everyone by surprise. You guys were good at promoting and reminding us when all star weekend was / voting for it, so why not give a gentle reminder when BO3 TWL format is in effect?

I agree with this Project Dragon. I tried to make players aware of this before the first round started, so they wouldn't just leave arena after the first round and be aware of the format.

It has been in the rules for some time now because I don't think anyone has updated the rules/league info for some time now. I guess they did go by the rules/league structure before or forgot? Who knows, but it is there.

TWL will feature best of 3 playoffs. Teams will be included based on regular season win-loss records.

I understand that it is in the rules, but this is the first time twl has done a BO3 for all of the playoffs, not just the finals. It is the most drastic change for basers because dd and jd is already a bo3, and basers could potentially be playing 1.5 hours of basing. I feel like this shouldn't just be a "well captains should have read the rules and should have seen it coming and I shouldn't need to hold anybodies hand" sort of thing. This is what the announcements on the twl website are for. There wasn't even an announcement declaring playoffs have started, just "don't forget to vote for your all-star team!". A simple statement stating it is playoffs and a reminder of the NEW bo3 playoff format (not just for the grand finals) is relatively simple and should take too much time to do.

I realize that this is a useless post since we are past the point, but I was not the only person surprised by the bo3 format today, so I thought this should still be addressed.

i updated it last season, and i think i made an announcement as well? idk so long ago i forgot.

EDIT: whether it was actually put into effect is beyond me because i believe by the time TWL playoffs had rolled around demonic was a sysop and i had quit.

It was news to me that semi's would be Best of 3, and I was super excited because I thought "Oh Great that gives me a chance to play a round in playoffs!" So I says to Zidane I says, "put me in for round 2!" But he just added himself and Mattey and didn't respond to me. But hey, I'm just the squadowner of Pandora, running the squad sine it began in 2005, getting it to the finals 5 times when there was actually competition, and the guy who carried Pandora's sharks to victory last season, what do I know?
