I'm not gonna sit here and argue with you. I wish you the best on Cobra. You went from 6th string wb on fierce to a possible sub on a worse squad. I am happy that you are promoting competition and hope that with this new 3 game a day schedule you see some play during the regular season.

First of all both weak and tohn are way better than you, and rainbow is active as *** are you stupidOriginally posted by beam View Posttohn averages 0-10 in twld weak averages 2-20 in twld finals, chuckle geisha and rainbow never play. we have 6 wbs and none of em except for racka are active in dd. fierce has 8 wbs who practice every single day. gonna be hard to keep with that lvl of nerdiness.
btw casket idk how u can say fierce isn't stacked when u literally had to leave them because they had so many wbs u had 0 chance of ever playing ld ur a perfect example of the problem and good job leaving to be a part of the solution

We have 21 on roster and these guys are included: Plob#f, Micke, Skyforger, Nicholas, Leitz, Gilder, Lee.
These 7 are inactive or rarely ever come on, so for kicks..just remove them & we actually have 14 on roster. We are a pretty small squad & I don't believe it's stacked at all...most squads will never go through this way for whatever reason.
P.S. Thunder so stacked but I like the addition of Racka for LD to keep balance with Fierce and oh yeah ease really hates losing so always expect him to stack...

Are you really counting Twilight Wolf, & Loxely? Death Row/Ward extremely inactive. They also have four primary javers. Minus those 8,they have 8 pretty good warbirds. Still doesn't mean there stacked. I have Fierce winning TWLD, but they are NOT stacked.Originally posted by beam View Posthaving 8 warbirds in a game with 15 total wbs is extremely stacked

Fierce's activity has been decreased lately and they have one of the smallest rosters in the league. Sure they have about good 8 warbirds on there squad but doesn't mean there stacked.

No incentive?Originally posted by but...why...per... View PostNo fork, increasing teams does not mean people would go to LEGO to jav, why? Because there is no incentive to play for LEGO if they are at the bottom of ladder. LEGO offered spots for LD warbirds and none came, since all squads qualified anyway. If paladen and enemy did not make LD then maybe some of those players would have left those squads to join but that did not happen.
a) if lego were in twl-j - thats already an incentive.
b) If lego somehow managed to beat a top squad- it would be a memorable moment... a pro player may want to that to happen and join these underdog squads.
c) Players who have been kicked off their squad(due to roster cap) will have a chance still to play twl on squads like lego/ paladen. If lego play paladen then that would be an interesting game itself as both teams are kinda equal in skill.
They increased teams to 10 in ld but kept lj at 8 squads when there was 10 squads willing to play (including paladen who played the most amount of jds)... doesn't make sense lol. More squads= more fun, even if them squads are shit.

It would have been better if u increased lj squads to 10 and it would have prevented a lot of cheats/ bans before qualification. Though Lego and Paladen aren't considered good squads- people may join at last minute to increase the overall skill lvl.

I agree that is one of the many reasons as to why veteran player(s) may not be performing at their expected level, and is something that I was thinking about touching in my earlier post. It is very easy to get good again, but it is not as easy to regain that motivation. You actually need the drive to succeed if you want to win anything this year, and even more so if you want to compete on a higher level of play. Not everything will be handed to you on a silver platter, and more often than not hard work triumphs over pure talent.
I have personally noticed that it is very easy to get back in shape when playing this game, even if you have an extended break of over a year, although some may credit that to my lag rather than the immense amounts of hours that I've put into this game in the past, and there might very well be a grain of truth in that story. Unfortunately, it is very hard for me to actually take this game seriously anymore, but it is not because I think that the competition if non-existent in its current form or that I have grown bored of this game, but rather I have forced myself to play at a lower level for years to make the game more enjoyable for others. This is by far my biggest flaw, and it is very tough to bounce back and get rid of this habit. It should be my opponents responsibility to adjust their playing style according to my lag and not the other way around, unless my lag is really that bad.
It is quite hilarious to be in my position, let me tell you that much. No matter what I do, it's unfair for the rest of the players – the amount of times I've been called a cheater, lag abuser or one that only joins stacked squads is immeasurable despite being one of the least loyal players in the game, being on over 10 different TWL squads despite having better offers on the table.
Nonetheless, this season should be good in terms of competition. It's going to be a shame if Royal won't make it to the playoffs or simply plays at a poor level, but if that happens then they can only blame themselves and not the zone.

I agree with Turb, although I would add that ‘vets’ don’t lose skills but rather eventually become bored and/or apathetic. (As I am sure VA knows better than anyone, after you have repped 250,000 times for ungrateful spiders who think you sole purpose is to be their personal shark, it gets kinds old.)
<Eph rant> In my mind the truly greatest players are those who continue to try to help the zone in whatever capacity. Becoming skilled at shooting a digital bullet across the screen can be taught to a monkey. But to be willing to contribute even when you simply want to say ‘fuck this’ is rare. Having a player who is willing to step outside the comfort of a stacked team to help lesser players is even rarer. But for whatever reason TW doesn’t reward these types players; instead we hand out little icon rings and praise other things. </Eph rant>
