Status of TWLB

Hey guys, I haven't seen many TWBD matches going on lately in the zone. What's everyone thoughts on this? Basing is by far my favorite league to play, but I'm kinda disappointed that its quiet dead at the moment (whole zone is kinda meh right now but atleast I see games consistently for wb/jav). Right now I can only really count 4 squads playing base. Which is really worry some for TWLB.

yup, that is the plan.

Undercut is likely going to be the Head of TWL unless he has changed his mind. There is a chance that we will have an all-time low amount of participating squads and players, and thus will have to prepare that possibility as well.

anyway, on a more personal note, I will return to semi-activity at around the end of this month, or shortly after the Steam launch, and will most likely log on today to help with the coming launch.

trench wars used to be the most popular zone because it was "easier" than other zones, but what does "easy" mean? in 1999 it was a term that applied because the average person on subspace had probably played very few, if any, fast-paced MMO games. tw was perfect in that environment.

now the average steam user probably has a few hundred hours of experience in games that are all kinds of more intense. i'm not gonna lie, ever since DSB came back to life i have been straight up addicted to the flagging and the intensity of that zone. i know it's been said before but it might actually be time to develop a newer, faster flagging game. same settings, but the classic TW map is just kinda boring after awhile. multiple flags, EG style bases, etc. etc - diakka was onto something with ?go attack, it was made for people who weren't playing subspace as their first video game ever but as someone playing subspace after having experienced any other game that has come out since the year 2000
