M_M God> Vikings is mainly a squad which started out as friend squad, created by Morg (Ravos) and developed into a mix of competition and just having fun together. I think his main aim was to reunite old and new players together and train them up
omega red> Are you guys helping players transition from pub to TWD environment?
M_M God>Yeah, at least we try to. But we want to be competitive as well for TWL, so its mainly reintroducing old returning players and new pub players to TWD while trying to compete in TWL
omega red> Since you are trying to remain competitive, which league do you believe is your strongest? And which player(s) are integral to your success there?
M_M God> well I dont see us as big contenders, but dangerous outsiders in all leagues. I believe we can win with the right people in their respectful leagues, Jones and Riverside in twld for example, we have a good teaming bunch of javs for twlj and a nice mix of experience and enthusiast basers for twlb. try and cause a few upsets $
omega red> So, do you think you can take it to Fierce and Lego in basing?
M_M God> Oh definitely, with some good showings we can win, surprise a few people here and there. If you look solely on paper they seem as the stronger squads but in twlb anyone can win from anyone and we surely have a good basing team built up
omega red> can you tell me about a time that you beat a favorite squad in TWLB in your past?
M_M God> haha plenty
omega red> give me one example, for the fans
M_M God> winning with disoblige vs pallies, wildfire vs some clear favorites, with cripples back in the days and of course with pirates when we made it to the finals and beat squads like dice and penetrate in regular season
omega red> wow, i wasnt aware that Pirates beat those guys to make it to the finals. good stuff. one last question.
omega red> who are ison and ravos? excuse my newness
M_M God> No problem, they have been away from TW for a while, returned a few months ago. Ravos is Morg, aka Morgane, crazy Belgian guy who is mainly a jav/baser. Used to be in Mambo back in the days
M_M God> Ison is ex-Disoblige and Sage, from Sweden, another guy who hadn't played in some years and returned to lead a nice bunch of people and have some fun in twl this season

So I wanted to get more familiar and intimate (no homo) with the squads of TWL. I didn't really know much about Vikings and I wanted to see who they were and what they're about. This will hopefully be the first of many series of squad profiles. Getting a behind-the-scenes look at Vikings squadron has really got me excited about the squad and their future. They seem to be the squad to join if you want to help new players and play with battle-hardened veterans too. I will definitely be following them closely this TWL.
