omega red> ok so i like to start with this question...Who is DF? who is Lego and how did it all begin?

df> im df, dead fish! from dsb. i cummed to subspace in year 1999 and couldnt get in any squad so i made my own in early 2000, <-LEGO-> then i got the squadname LEGO after some time
df> we played dsb and some of our players played regularly TW and 17th parallel so we wanted to try those zones also.

omega red> who is the old Lego crew that came from DSB? core members?

df> they dont play anymore, mr. tinkles has been helping me out a lot with lego tw, many times capping, i love her. pardon was one co-cpt also, such an emo, now hes mia. and nokkonen been with us for years also. and i think henry saari and trasher
df> started to play here with us, i might be wrong, 2002 was the first year when i made lego in TWD

omega red> how come you guys never played EG? i heard that zone was awesome

df> not sure, we had some EG players in lego dsb; cdb and RagE!
df> cdb was cdb!!! in eg i think, many years ago

omega red> yea, he's an old vet. old Mutiny player
omega red> so lets talk about TWL...
    df> cool
df> my hands are shaking... btw
omega red> i will have my secretary fetch you a glass of water

omega red> lately, Lego has lost some quality players, how are you guys going to bounce back?

df> atm we got pretty much the same core of the cool huns that we have had for last years, except we got 2 sharks now, for now, vati is still in lego as far as i know.
df> sharks has always been the problem for us
df> thank god i found this noob markmrw last year and now he is getting better

omega red> you have a few capable people, vati i mean is elite but you also have markmrw and a player i never seen before named nanto

df> only 2 of them will play league, we are still looking for a shark(s) so if any squadless sharks read this sexy interview plz touch me in the game and we can chat, includes you omega. nanto is damn good but i think he cant play TWL
df> i tried to prac shark myself but it turn out that im worse shark than tj hazukis wb so i let other do that job

omega red> lol thanks for the offer, will keep it in mind
omega red> so tell me the truth, can you beat Cobra, or Vikings? i feel like those games will be must wins for you guys if you will have any
chance to reach the LB playoffs

df> they will most likely beat us, but we are here to gain experience, and this will be the first TWL where i can show up, so i can organize the shit during the games.

omega red> Lego had a good run last year, can you refresh my memory of key players that you had last year who arent on Lego right now. And also who are your key players going forward this season?

df> well we had 3 sharks last season, markmrw, rodney and pinkstar. also temporary is missing from our spiderline, hydride/warportal terred

omega red> i feel if your guys show up, you can beat almost anyone
omega red> except dudgeon stackers ofc

df> we need 1-2 experienced sharks and we can prolly win a game or two
df> not saying mark is bad but if u compare the lineups vs other squads
df> Experience will step up at some point

omega red> what's that pic of Lego's banner in TWD? looks like a man and a candy bar

df> oh thats one piece of my 4 banners show.. lets say its a hungry man looking for some love
    df> yes that it is
    df> if Left_Eye asks
omega red> thanks for your interview for this edition of Squad Profile, df. i appreciate your time
df> thanx hun. it was my pleasure, if u know what i mean
omega red> i know a lot of subspace pilots will see this interview and Lego most likely get good publicity for this. We are averaging like 100 views a day for our interviews

So Lego squadron is looking a lot different after the departure of some pilots to Burn. They are still hopeful and resilient that they can have a great season and are in the race for a playoff spot in all 3 leagues. It's interesting to see them build their wb line while also staying relevant in base. Lego has by far the biggest basing roster on paper but as we can see, the TWL roster limits have cut all the fat away and we are left with the mean-lean, basing/warbirding machine that is LEGO. This squad is looking to break away from the pack as it wants to be in the Top 4 basing squads of TW (Dudgeon, Burn, Fierce, ....).

    Bonus Interview with TJ Hazuki:

omega red> you didnt agree with my TWLB write-up on Lego, why?

tj hazuki> I just think we have alot of talent on this roster that we've put together during the offseason.

omega red> yea but the big story is, a lot of you starter-types went off to Burn, how will you guys adjust? Can you make the playoffs?

tj hazuki> well we pretty much replace those guys with some of the new recruits
tj hazuki> i think they will fare pretty well on here.
tj hazuki> baring any mistakes i think we can. this roster is pretty much similar to last season's and we missed the playoffs by one minute. the goal is to reach playoffs and go from there
tj hazuki> yeah, like I said I think LEGO can adjust to whatever situation it presents itself. This isn't the first time that I've dealt with last minute changes with a squad before
tj hazuki> My goal is to win obviously but more realistically the goal is to reach playoffs

omega red> im not gonna lie though, that was some top talent that walked out the door

tj hazuki> It was but like our roster has alot of depth
tj hazuki> in terms of spider quality
I wasn't so much worried about that aspect of our squad
tj hazuki> i was more worried about the activity of our sharks but i think we have that solved now

omega red> which player(s) specifically give you an edge over Fierce/Cobra/Vikings?

tj hazuki> I think as a whole squad we have better chemistry. That's what really it comes down too, players like TheWadoRooster, Henry Saari have proven themselves to be a quality spider talent.
tj hazuki> Mango also is one of those guys whose an all around basing talent
tj hazuki> A bit underrated if you ask me

omega red> it's gonna be fun to watch them match up vs other squads

tj hazuki> Definitely will be interesting. Whoever has the better lines that show up on Sundays will win the match but I think we have the talent to beat most squads.
omega red> thanks for your time and gl in all 3 leagues!
tj hazuki> Thank you for the interview, appreciate your hard work this season and keep it up
