We have been considering a different rule to allow teams in the bottom of the standings to recruit a player or two without a waiting period. I am waiting to talk with Ricko and M_M God to figure out the details and teams that would be included to strengthen their teams for the last week or for the playoffs.

yeah i was told that lasenza was eligible because he hadn't played the previous week. thats why i mentioned cloth, because he did play the previous week and was still eligible this week lol. makes no sense to me.

4.04 Waiting Period

The Standard Waiting Period for roster eligibility goes as follows: Any player joining a squad for participation in Trench Wars League (this includes changing names) after the last match of Round 1 will be subject to a 1 week Waiting Period after being added to the TWL roster by the Captain. After 1 week has elapsed they can play for their squad so long as they are not breaching the hard lock rules.


The waiting period will be waived for a player that meets one of the following conditions:


Have been a member of the squad since before their squad qualified and have never been on the TWL roster for the current season.

Name change is due to their staff position.



This rule itself is rather vague and can be interpret in a few ways, thus we are at fault for not realizing how vague it ended up being when we did the rules with the help of BWP, Ephemeral, Ricko, Tsunami and some other players of the community.

This set of rules doesn't specify exactly how long the waiting period is, and even says that "after being added to the TWL roster, the player is subject to a one week waiting period" which can be interpret in two different ways. It should have included, "and may not play in the subsequent round of TWL" to further clarify how long the waiting period is, but the rule never stated that and thus captains and players were confused. There was some confusion among the TWL operators as to who was eligible to play this week due to this new rule being unclear to some, and thus we ended up giving the okay to LaSenza to play with me and M_M God being on the case. However, as he was allowed to play, Cloth and Ease would also had been eligible to start in their matches.

Now, while I was told by Ease that he does not want to play in the regular season, and initially told BurN that Ease is not eligible to play this week as I had the old rules still in my head, given the fact how other players were given the 'okay' then he should have also been able to play this week. We will seriously consider any appeal that may come after this week, and due to staff errors and miscommunication, chances are that the replays will be granted.

alas, this was mentioned two weeks ago, and would target teams such as Paladen, You2be, and Vikings help them in the playoffs for a more exciting season. nothing has been set in stone nor decided yet, but it was always a possibility if the players want a more competitive playoff experience.
