yah,

the match data was deleted from seasons 7 through 12 several years ago in an attempt to "clean out the database" and create additional storage space on the server. however, due to this we did lose a good part of our history on the main TWL website thanks to the unfortunate accident. the data is still backed up in the TWLM sites, but it would be very time consuming to manually add those statistics back to the TWL website as you would have to input all the data -- match IDs, player IDs, seasons, rounds, scores, ratings -- by hand, one by one.

Could staff back up (now) stats from season 12 untill now, so we dont lose that on future again?

why don't we make a list of what needs to happen to get it done and start chipping away at it. Im sure you have some staff members that would be willing to input the games 1 at a time. Could offer quota points or such for each game entered. Find out who has access, how to get the data, how the data is exported out/convert it to something readable. start inputting....

this is a good idea and might even be a little fun, like if you sat down for like what, an hour max? and did like one league from one season + playoffs, if i did season 8 TWLB for instance i'd wind up typing in names i havent seen in awhile, i'd input data for some matches i havent thought about in awhile, i'd find this thread, etc etc
