epi can't handle being in charge. he bends the rules as he pleases to screw squads he doesn't like and help those he does like.
the backstory:
cripples vs melee, TWLB. rough game with a ton of lagouts. well the score was pretty close until our terrier lagged out near the end of the game. but we had no subs and the terr didn't return until about a minute or so before the final buzzer. without a terr, we kinda flew around spawn hoping to buy time and save points until our terr got back. so once the terr finally was able to log back on, it was already too late to comeback (especially with a little over a minute remaining). 2 of our other players had gotten booted to spec from spikes, so we just said gg and specced.
congrats, melee wins like 100k-60k or something. good game, go home, call it a day, see ya next week. but it didn't end there.
at this point, epi comes in and starts talking in green about Rule 10.13 being enforced.
Rule 10.13 - Hiding in an arena or refusing to fight, will not be tolerated. If a player is found to be hiding or refusing to fight, that player will be warned. If the player does not comply within 60 seconds, the player will be specced and given a score of 0 points and may be substituted if one is available
he rules that cripples score should be reset to 0 and melee awarded 117k (or some amount close to that, i don't remember off-hand).
at no point in time were any warnings issued to us for refusing to fight, and even if there were, they wouldn't be justified. we had major lagout problems, and only 1 or 2 players actually specced on their own at the end. we still had 4 players in all the way to the buzzer.
this is flat-out abuse by epi and complete ignornance of his own rules. melee should still get their win, but not the giant points spread. that will only unfairly screw other teams' chances of winning a tie-breaker with melee.
