Naw Cylor i was still the pleasant, helpful, concerned person i am irl when i was on Beauty And im not pessimistic its just that i chose not to involve nearly as much time, emotion, or effort towards this game and its players as i used to because they have been giving me nothing but bs in return. Just a reevaluation of priorities based on recent expiriences hehe. Id say there are only 3 ppl left in this game that i seriously consider friends. maybe so, but what about guys who aren't in twl. . . melee's had a few ppl go to twd squads (tards) and come back after and are now ineligible. we also have some recruits from twd squads who aren't eligible.

also, the one thing that doesn't make sense "yah, you can't have any name changes in twl." IT IS THE SAME FRICKIN PLAYER!

get rid of the roster lock, let people recruit more, and i'll be happy. What epi points out is why some sort of deterrance for people who want to "jump ship" is required, but he only goes on to say why it was placeed in week 5. The same exact thing could have been done with 3-4 week ineligbility period, but it would have taken into account that shit happens in the weeks that there are delays. Granted delays are inevitable, but this way, people can work around them.

The reason why it's in round 5 was the following. PUSHER and I figured that the later in the season the roster lock was, the more people would leave the "crappy" squads and jump ship to the "good" squads. Why would this be? Say roster lock was in round 8, then you'd pretty much know who was going to make the playoffs and who wasn't. We didn't want a situation where the lower squads would lose their best 2-3 players as this hurts TWL as a whole for the next season.

By having it right at round 5, nothing has been decided yet, and it gives squad leaders the good conscience to know that after this point their rivals have been set and then the competition is solidified.

After this season is over, we'll take a good look at the system and see if it needs revision.

B) Yes, there were delays, we all understand that. But for the most part, it wasn't anything unscripted. (Bar server problems, which complaining about is just about as constructive as complaining about the weather.)
C) Any one person doesn't have to play all 10 rounds. Squads have a roster limit for TWL of what, 30 players? At most, you'd need less than 1/3 of your roster every week.
D) It's an opt-in league. If you don't like it, don't play it. Simple.
E) This TWL has been the best so far, delay-wise.
F) Was this really worth bringing up again?
