Oh, I see. I guess you mean the sides? I guess this would necessitate having a javelin on every team to break cram. I happen to hate javelins in basing because of what they do in the flagroom- generally turn into laggy shits that ruin the experience by powering their way through a wall of bullets and killing the terrier, actually- but this would be a good way to limit cramming, which I think is the most important issue this season. (The Spastic squadron would probably agree.)
The thing about Ewan's (was it Ewan's?) design is that it makes base defense difficult to impossible. Shark mines become even less important (and they've lost a lot of importance with the cram) and mid-base dogfights become less likely because of the extremely easy-access base.
I think we should test both of them. Neither is perfect, but they're both steps in the right direction.
I don't think Randedl's suggestion is a good idea.
