If you get into TWL next season will you keep with your policy of recruiting everyone to give them a leg up into the basing world or will you judge people on current skill?

Right now we're not recruiting EVERYONE, but that doesn't mean we won't recruit ANYONE. The policy for RB this time around has been to not recruit based on skill, but to recruit based on potential. Potential usually means them being on a lot, having an interest in basing, and joining the squad based on nothing else but to have fun. Once we get people that are joining just to be on a basing squad, while they wait to get on a "better" one, then we have problems. Yah, I'm sure we still might have a few, but we're trying to do our best to weed those out.
So, to answer your question, we aren't going to be stricter about "skill" but we ARE cutting our recruiting down. I get about 5 ?messages a day or so from people asking to join. We usually keep an eye on those people, get a sense of their personality, see how much they play, see WHAT they play, etc etc.
Hopefully TWL won't corrupt us and turn us into assholes though

My last recruit (oom) was from DSB base league, and judging on LEGO's success coming from DSB and his interest in basing, I decided to give him a go.

how do you judge potential though? what is potential? if you never see skill how can find it later in time? and how can you have time if you don't take it? does everything begin with potential? no. wrong. potential is an illusion, created between those who have skill... and those who do not.
