l0l we got 40 ppl on roster almost im sure we dont need to have extra names, and if u'd check the roster every one of them names is a player u see almost on a daily basis or atleast 4 times a week or so, so its not like we have names like PUMA has where when 1 guy dies out they go change names then add a 5th being the person who already died out. I see no need to have extra names when u got that many ppl on roster who are generaly active.

Once you have a foundation of players who you can rely on everygame, most the time those squads dont dissolve unless they fail in leagues(SHriek, Shinobi, Rampage). The other squads with talented players but not quit the talent to compete will end up dieng (dynasty, attack, wf, any other ravage squad)

I believe Dragonguard is moving up in the world, Wreck(Myself) and Holybird joined up a couple days ago, we also have quite a few other skilled wbs now and should be able to push at LEAST to semi's

mayb if they dont rely on MK too much.. cause what i see is.. DG refuses to play good squads unless MK is on.. and while MK isnt online.. they go hurt the easy squads and steal their points..

i spose ur right if u say we like to play the harder squads with mk on, and why not, u cant say ewwww you play harder squads when u have a good line up on :P lol...to complain about that is silly, but lots of people do.

However we do play good squads without him on aswell, just look at twdd history. Cheers

And the basics of this squad are stronger than the basics I had on Egyptian, and Obi didnt help us out one day. Nice person though. Zapata, Dragonscale, Riksa en Lomoro were the talents on my squad.

now i didnt mean that ur all melee bc i konw what u mean when u said make squad w/ friends and such just basicaly saying that ur squad (grapevine) is more Melee like then the actual Melee is nowdays.

at the time you posted it, yeah the majority of people on grapevine were from melee.

however

point 1: tyson and milos both came to us from sk8. zap came from victory, and i think froe came from paladen.

anon (who is an rl friend) eva and myself were the only 3 (i think) to go straight from one to the other.

point 2: you looked in the midst of the xmas break. we hadn't bothered to recruit or hardly play for a fairly long length of time. weaver was up visiting over the holidays, and there was just too much real life stuff going on to worry about a squad, that's why it was so saturated with people who were the easiest to recruit at the time.

point 3: we have even more ex-melee ppl on our roster now. i was involved with melee for 2 years (give or take), and had a hand (if not my whole arm) in recruiting for a majority of that. over that time i made friends. and who would want to run a squad of players who aren't their friends?

point 4: same as point 3, but instead of friends look at who i think shows alot of potential.

point 5: grapevine was made and is led by 3 rl friends, not by melee, melee still exists. you say grapevine is more like melee than melee is. no, grapevine is a squad (in part) led by myself, like melee was. that is the similarity, not the people on the roster.
