How is starting now screwing other teams? I'm on a squad that needs to qualify to be in twl and if it were to start twl in 2 weeks i doubt we'd qualify for all 3 leagues, but i don't care.

and project ur rite i dont knw if there is MORE double squading this season then last, but i know that there are more teams who can get into TWL this season, and that there are squads doing it who are in that area of squad who will make TWL.

and Download, i dont know if SK8 has names or 1 name that ppl use, i didnt see it happen or been notified of it, but either way so be it, if it results in my own squad being punished then so be it. But what im imagining is it probably wont so much be the squads punished, it'll be the person/ppl using the names/double squading who aer punished.

How is that going to improve TWL? New bots mean new improvements and the ability to fix mistakes made in the previous season. And sry if I'm being a bit pointed at your friend Mattey Nick, but that's a pretty damn selfish statement considering all the complaints w/TWD and the past TWL as well as the time the ops have been working on revising the rules and bots. A LOT of ppl do indeed want fixes to be made and a TWD that will reflect those fixes.

Stop thinking about YOUR OWN TEAM and start thinking about other teams. Other teams would like to compete and make it into TWL with better bots and better rules. You ARE in fact screwing with them when u reset and after 2 weeks of TWD decide who goes to TWL. 2 weeks is too short of a time period to see who should or should not be in TWL. And where is the proof Nick, cuz obviously you hafta spell it out for me. And yes, you may be sharing your thoughts, but after the 50th time (<-- exaggeration of course) it does in fact become a sorta annoying complaint. And it's a bit hypicritical to start posting suggestions to improve this coming league while at the same time demanding (sounds more like you guys are demanding rather than suggesting) for TWL to start.

Okay - the problems in last TWL were very minimal. I don't think you were here for Cromes TWL so you don't realise how minimal they really were. Also we don't need all these new bots. The simple fact is that human hosts have worked in the past and they continue to work now, there really isn't a need for them in a simple zone such as tw where it doesn't keep track of dmg, reps or any specials because they're aren't any. All the bots have to do is count to 10 and spec a player (which they do just fine right now). The twd problems don't relate to twl because of the human host. If someone doesn't get warped (a problem in twd) and host will warp him, ez cheezy.

Also for the record i'm not jumping to Matteys defense for any reason other than he's correct. Me and Mattey have always been okay but i don't think either of us would consider ourselves a friend. (our one mutual friend i have on ignore, so he isn't mutal anymore) So I'm not just blindly sticking up for a friend, if he was wrong i'd tell him so.

Heh, yeah I prob miswrote that "leave intelligence out" =D. Yes, I agree in general that TWL should be scheduled in a timely fashion w/o huge delays. But lemme just say that specifically in the area of basing, there has been several long debates and discussions on what is wrong w/basing ... mainly that we need to make it more fun, and involve more ships. As of now, there has been little, if no changes to this. We don't even know for sure if there will be a 4 spid limit. Unfortunately no one is really doin anything about it. You can't just make a few diff basing maps and play a few times and call it a day. Even if you just want to get rid of those 2 blocks ... have you guys played enough times to know that that map should be used? Maybe you have, but the general population has not. There hasn't even been a poll put up. Perhaps you are just satisfied with status quo and a TWL exactly like last yrs. Sure, you'll get to play 10 games or so ... maybe make playoffs, and win a championship. But where is the desire or spirit of making TWL a better league everytime it starts? That is what ops are looking out for ... making league better each time we play. I for one, will not be satisfied it TWL was exactly the same as last season, and I hope others feel the same way.

Phew, where to begin.


We don't need the new bots, the old bots worked great last season. The new bots would be nice, but the fact that it's taken a year to get them is a little extreme. I don't think Cpt. should rush his work so why not just implement them next season?



We really don't need a TWD reset, this TWD season has been going on for quite some time, and notifying squads now that they have 2 weeks (on top of the previous month or so that they've already been playing) to qualify for TWL would be plenty of time for the ladder to sort itself out (which I think it has already done).


My comment about the reset button is to just reset the bots use last season and "get this shit on the road" as I so eloquently put it.
