2 weeks is more than enough time to sort out the ladders. If a squad can't play enough matches within 14 fucking days, they shouldnt be in the leagues. Squads like final, light, all the squads with talent have proven that they can form up or wake up and get to the top of the ladders in days. If other squads can't keep up with that, then they get washwed out.,

it's not a question of whether or not those squads will make it in, it's a question of who will get the last couple spots.

yup, it takes atleast a month for the ladder to "settle" into a reasonable position. enough matches have to be played by all squads in the ladder so that the average rating of squads becomes high enough to exclude squads that avoid tough matches. in 2 weeks all the best squads will surely be able to play enough matches to get in, but the mid table and lower twl squads will be competing with certain squads that refuse to play tough teams and thus rarely lose games, and with the amount of games played in 2 weeks the best strategy would be to completely avoid any match you have a significant chance of losing, because everyones ratings are sufficiently low to make decent point gains off of games against 1000 rated teams.

i think that there need to be some safeguard's up against a 2week wonder squad making it into twl?

i believe hz has some strict penalties on players who squadhop, or who are on a squad that dies?

maybe, once twl starts, people can't leave a twl squad's roster, they can only be added to it.

ie. if i'm on grapevine at the start of the season and i decide, screw it, time to go join whoever, i can't play twl for them?

i dunno, but i think that the biggest problem last twl was the fact that rosters were changing so much. the pre-season seedings were effected by it, so was the actual season.

It's too late to do that now. It's already been officially announced that TWD was going to reset again. I'm sure many squads have already played stupid/unfair games just to dick around, thinking that they wouldn't count.

I get what you're saying suff but i don't agree. I think now is the time to start the league and during the summer is the time to update it. In reality if we could get into a set year program that would be best. Say start the league in sept and run it to Jan (5 months) start it in Feb and run it to June (at the Latest - another 5 months) and have parts of June, July, August off would be perfect. Yeah the two leagues would look the same but we'd be able to do all the updates during a 4 month summer break when nobody would want to play anyways. Now 2 leagues a year can be cramming it a little so i'm perfectly ready to accept a league starting in Nov and running until feb, or even starting it later in nov so that we cover more winter. Simply put I don't care when leagues are run as long as it isn't summer.

Is everyone ignoring me? A month has already gone by for teams to settle themselves out. I'm saying add another 2 weeks onto it because now people will know it's legit, and they have to play to get in.

Leagues are more fun than meaningless TWD, so let's put a stop to the meaningless TWD and get started with leagues. Sure, there are always going to be problems, but if your team is actually good, you should be able to get qualified.
