Again, I don't know anything about Juice, but seriously, if they're even a little bit good, they'll be able to get in if they really want to. It really doesn't take much.

Well i know that, and i know they'll probably get in, they were jsut an exampel squad, but i dont think its rite for PUMA to be #4 by playing the talent level they play. The problems arent in the DD/JD ladders bc there is enuff games played.

But the #4 spot doesn't mean shit. It's all just a method of sorting out who should get into twl. #4 or #16 are both the same thing at the end of the season. if they feel the need to sneak into a high twbd rank for some reason, who cares? it doesn't mean anything.

And you even said yourself that your example squad will probably get in anyway. There's no example squad that you can give that would be right on the edge, and would really deserve to get in. it's really easy to break 16th place.

The one thing I can see your point on is about forcing squads to requalify. I argued for dropping the bottom 4 when we had that discussion. But now that it's in place, I kinda like the idea of rewarding teams that made the playoffs. It really gives you something to shoot for even in the leagues that you know you won't get 1st place.

Oh ya well i fought for it to and i agree rewarding the playoff squads is a great idea, bc it is something to strive for. I also am not worried about PUMA LOZL they dotn scare me, i just hate to see them make TWLB, and i know how ignite is, probably 3/4 his roster is double squaders neway, he will dissolve midseason.

just a quick point

u say no difference, but at the end of last TWD, there was about 4 BD squads fighting for a bout 2 spots, and the last week was crazy

it does and can make a big difference

on top of it all, it creates the need for squads to only play newbs, just to get their rank up to make the league, even if they would rather play competitive teams, if teams are just laming newb squads or trading off DD's /JD's/BD's for free wins, to help each other, it makes it neccessary just to match points....

its ugly, and a slight revamp of the system or points might help

also, last year at one point, Mythrandir changed the bots (i think) so that defaulted wins gave no points to either side.......

i think this is crucial and needs to be re-implemented again...
because of lagout issues, or giving up free wins with defaults

it can only help stability of the ladder

Agreed, bc alot of hte time, ur challenging in say "TWJD4" arena, then u get a challenge from "TWJD" andu go accept it, then 30 secounds later, a squad u challenged realizes ur playing in TWJD, dont have enuff for both and accepts TWJD4. Now ur giving up a free win to someone.

I guess that makes sense, but at the same time, I hate when a squad accepts a challenge and you get all your guys together, then they back out. they should be punished. errr.. ok.. they'd still lose points, we would just not get any, right? that'd be cool.

Ya thats a bitch to, but maybe there could be a !cancel command in teh bot so u could cancel a !challenge.

But then annoying people can challenge and then unchallenge, making us nervous.

You could maybe make it so that a challenge can't be undone until it's out there for at least 30 seconds or a minute.
