Lag Limit Should Be 500 ms

Also you gotto realize that if u shoot in front of me you'll say o fuck I missed, but since i lag I die, there thats the tip shoot infront of me and i die its as simple as that.

Here in new zealand we don't even have cable, not at how cheap it is in america anyway. Most ppl have dsl and here in nz thats like a 290-350 ms ping, I don't want to pay fuckin $130 a month for cable just to play this game.

I think the people who are against this and sad and should let everyone have a fair go.

I feel sorry for you, but it's just not fair to everyone else in the game when you lag the way you do. It wouldn't be so bad if you just ate a bit, but you visually lag to everyone else. Say someone repelled you. There would be like a 1/2 second delay before your ship even reacted to the repel.

If you're NOT allowed to play, it only ruins the game for you. If you ARE allowed to play, it ruins the game for everyone else. I am sure that there are other people in New Zealand that play the game and don't lag nearly as bad or noticibly as you do.

Everyone knows I'm from New Zealand. I think I should be allowed to play my favourite and only ship, shark, in leagues. I have under 400ms. At best I can get 310ms with little ploss. Hirluin is right, it does cost quite a bit to have adsl, and I'm not forking out money for a better conenction that would only give me 50ms less.

The server move did help us quite a bit. When the server was in Europe, my ms was between 500-1000. Now I can get a stable 350ms. Also look at it from our view. Imagine if you were half way across the world from the server on a 56K and you wanted to play for your squad in the leagues.

Lower the limit to 300 ms to make it fair to everyone, anyone who is higher than that has a hard enough time playing the game anyways so its just gay for everyone.

As for the rest of this thread, I've played against Hir, myself, and I can say to you, just feel lucky that you're able to play TWD at all. Because honestly, you shouldn't be allowed to. You jump and skip everywhere, and totally disrupt the flow of the game.

Yeah, Hirluin, every time I see you in ?go base playing, you're a jav. And that part about lagging being bad for both sides, that's complete crap. You simply attach, detach, blast the crap out of the enemy team at fr entrance, who have no chance to rep (except they follow Stab's advice, heh) and die to some stray that wasnt nearly aimed at you.
