And yes I did just quote Shakesphear but it proves a point. If Rejected Basers changed their name do you really think it would be the same? Not only does it state our origin as lunch has mentioned but it is also who we are. Whether you look at us as a "n00b" "pubber" "leet" etc we are still rejects at heart. If we changed our name sure we'd still have the same members and same skills and all but we would lose a part of us. The name Rejected Basers is to show people that with the right leadership (paulo to wpe) that anyone can succeed.

I remember when I first joined, it was August 28th, 2003, I was over at tyflyias' house and we had just dissolved Swipe. While with Swipe I had played one basing game, I started as a spider but once Azn-girl like the color of explosions Tyler switched us. It was a game against Bunnies and all of our first basing games, except for Hero* but he didn't show up until half way through. I had a great time terring for Swipe and once it dissolved I needed to find a basing squad. I went to ?go base and talked to Fit of Rage. I asked if I could join and he let me. At this time lunch had just came out of pub and none of us knew what we were doing. Paul tended to spaz on us when we messed up but those of us who stuck with it have learned a ton from our experience. I will always know the squad as Rejected Basers, Its kinda stuck with me now.

Ur correct to an extent on what u said. its alot ezier on a leader to run a 1 league squad, and especialy when that squad is a basing squad. U can pick up some random pub guyz that are very active and have some experience and make them good in TWLB in time. RB had plenty of time to do this, its not like it just turned up in 2 months. They also picked up guys in .?go base who werent snatched up quick by mambo/diso/spastic and other basing squads. Doesnt mean these guys are "bad" just means they didnt know the rite ppl or werent looked at rite. In basing, anyone can have talent atleast to spider. And for as active as RB is (squadwise) and in TWBD games it isnt hard to make someone mediocre in base, very good in base. I must say WPE did a good job, but if she had to run a multi-league squad i'd say she would probably fail rite now, u guys have 30+ basers on ur roster, all who are fairly active, isnt hard to improve rapidly. ALthough i do <3u guyz

You have us figured out well Ciggy, although we still have a fair share of secrets. Our activity allows training while depth puts it all together a few months ago. But as Rinse said we were a bit disorganized, and this was a time when some players got good they left us in the dust for 'better' things in tw of all places. But over time players like Rinse, who is really skilled in his own right, continued to join and while loyal members as aforementioned stayed while disloyal left sooner or later you are going to be stuck with a squad full of very loyal and dedicated members. We might seek to expand into other leagues in future but think we will only take it one twl step at a time. Time for basing is now. Live long and prosper!

There was a time... when we had Veh, Server, Ruine and k2, that we could have done well with javs... heck even I was pretty decent at javs, but I don't think you guys could pull it off just now. Go through this season, see how you do, work on basing less after the season and perhaps start expanding. A lot of basing squads will be doing that after leagues, so you won't be alone.

Adman u suck. I've never gotten over 190 against a newb squad, they always give up too early. But I've gotten over 190 against Spastic, A-S, and Pallies in that order so continue being owned.

PS Paul and k2 ur right about us sucking in those leagues, was why I said we might 'seek' those leagues in future if we ever get serious about and want to. We will still suck but not as badly and maybe with practice we can do well.

Isn't the quote supposed to mean that the name doesn't matter, the rose would still be beautiful even if it was called "shitstain". Yet you're misinterpreting the quote and saying that your squad would not be the same if you changed the squadname? Ya just like mambo did, they focused on basing got into that league and got it to where they were very stable, then focused on javs, in which they made when a squad dropped out. They also seem to be focusing on javing again this season, and i think they'll make TWLJ, wont be a "big" force bc the dont have many "big named" pilots besides M_M, but they'll do decent. I believe WR also did someting like that, played 1 season pure basing, then expanded to javs in which they made last season and did fairly well.

All they take is time and patiences to do well in lunchy, U guys are well and fully active enuff to learn a thing like that in 1/2 the time of those other 2 squads. U mtie not have the pilots rite now, but with some practices and some personal dedication by some of ur pilots im sure u could put some effort into making TWLJ, probably not this season but next season RR isnt a bad jav, dixy,k2 can also jav well, same with nitti now. ANd for the record RB is climbing to the topish of my list of squads that want me. I feel im an "alrite" jav and would help u guyz out in that perspective also. Probably wont make TWL yet, but we could compete more.
