Harder the finger problem is because I use a gamepad, and it makes it painful because of how I hold the gamepad, which is honestly just really distracting more than anything. Good advice with the split, my gf told me to do the same thing lol.

Ice your finger then wrap it and show up. It's the start of the cup i'm sure you'll be fine, playing base does not take as much finger blasting as wb or jav. Get a splint for it, take it off for the game then put it back on after. Then RICE (rest, ice, compress, elevate) - Your friend - Harder.
