What went wrong:
Updates were made to the Matchbot, but not applied to the TWDT modules. This generated 2 errors: 1) When someone who was added left the arena the bot would died (this was excessively frequent because of people adjusting their resolutions for the TWDT arenas) 2) It assigned a total value of time that you could spend outside of base in TWDTJ instead of refreshing it upon spawning.
The 1st was a problem w/ updates, the 2nd was a problem in design. The first problem has been fixed and we will be running tests today. The 2nd is being worked on and should be ready for Sunday.
What are we to do:
Since I have received a plethora of complaints and appeals about the manual hosting delays in the DTD match (1 of which was thoroughly justified), and apparently some hosts missed my instruction to inform the players of the DTB matches that it was going to be to 10 minutes (although I am not buying the "we didn't know" bs because it said 3 minutes until victory and 1 min to victory and it was clearly shown that the bot was the base module); I am going to declare this previous weekend a Pre-Season weekend.
That said, I cannot justify giving nothing to the squads that showed up and won, while giving those who didn't show and lost a reprieve. So I have decided to add 10*'s per victory to the squads that won's caps. That means teams like Underground (won 2 games) will see their cap rise to 545 instead of 525. I hope that this is sufficient enough repayment for our deficiencies this weekend.
The question for the caps:
Would you rather play the same exact teams again this weekend or would you rather push switch week 7 with week 1?
