Even though you seem to be good with numbers, you got the probabilities very wrong on this one. I would say its more like 1:30 or less.

Uh, yeah, you're probably right, I didn't really do a calculation, and given my javelin skill level (represented by this chart below), my expertise on the subject matter is dubious at best.



I'll defer to you on the matter and assume 1:30 is closer to the actual probability. Given that we were underdogs in jav I think we really needed to win the first round to have a shot at advancing, so that play was pretty brutal. Oh well!
