It's looking pretty alright for a week, I've seen drafts with 'just' 200 and around 50 on free agency, with signups open for weeks a few years back. Might slow down a little bit now, and then have another peak next to draft day. Extending the draft date could and should help.

On Rab's list alone there's 94 players.

Higher chanse to see a 10-12 or even a ludicrous 14 team season making it near the old school 16 teams seasons. Depending on roster sizes ofc, given that 15 players should be the minimum per team.

15x14=210.

Even if rosters are 20, with 240 players, you can have a 12 teams season.

Getting around 250, doesn't feel distant with time and planning, reasonably high, doable goal. The more the merrier.

And repost.

Just a few suggestions.

- Set a signup bot on pub arena as well paired with green zoner.

- Do a Facebook post and re-post until draft day.

- Do super cheap Facebook / Google Adwords ads.

- Announce it on TrenchWars site.

- Let it be known on Chaos and EG.

- Maybe extend the signup phase another 2 weeks. Depending on roster sizes (15-20)..200-250 will allow 10 teams. A little more and maybe 12 teams can happen.

- Send out e-mail notifications to TW's emails.

- Motivate people to bring signups by using their personal contacts that they did over their SS years via Pubucks or something creative.

to add to what stayon said... Alleviating potential attendance issues by allowing borrows in some form during regular season would be worth it if it meant having an extra 2 teams. not that it should be pushed too far, and ideally no borrows would ever be used, but simply having the option there should make it easier to extend the amount of teams we are able to have...

odd numbers are fine... 11 teams are better than 10 if we are unable to get 12, the seeding can be figured out ez for playoffs.
