I think the saddest thing about star wars is that obi wan actor alec guiness refused to have anything to do with either the story or any fan reaction to it. He is notoriuous for a) regretting he took the role so much that he forced lucas to kill him to ensure minimal time in the sequels and b) never replying to a single star wars related fan letter
