i thought fishbone and bad brains were more ska-punk-funk oriented harcore. at least they were in the 90's.

Bad Brains changed a lot. they had a different lead singer on almost every album. the quickness was probably the best one, and except for 2 raggae songs, it was pretty straight-up hardcore.
