Confirmation Day!

Weeeee today was Confirmation Day at our church and I got confirmed We got tons of cake and I went to a ton of receptions with even more cake. But we also got blinded my picture bulbs bleeeeh. But yea, I had a bunch of fun and I'm bored so I decided to make a thread about it. (And I'm Christian if you dunno what Confirmation is all about).

Ahh yes, about 12 years of church school finally lead me to my confirmation day a couple years back... but yah the dressing up, getting up in front of the church, all those pictures and posting; all that fun stuff. On the other hand though, you get some money!
And I'm Catholic, not quite Christian

True story.
When we chose our confirmation names I chose Thomas because I thought it was the least faggy bible name I could find that already wasn't James. So on the day when I was being confirmed and the Bishop was having a talk with each of us during some ritual part of the thing, he says to me, "You aren't going to be like the doubting Thomas, are you?"
Quick as lightning I say, "No!"
Anyway, long story short. By the end of that year I had renounced my faith.

Yea I only got $60 though. $20 from my parents, $20 from my friend, and $20 I found on the soccer field at my soccer game (if that counts). I also got some books and stuff. I'm so glad I'm done though, the classes were soooo boring and I never paid attention. I just had to do a ton of last minute cramming for the 6 page front and back test! It was horrible! Somehow I only missed 2 and a half questions though Then we got quizzed in front of the whole church; that was fun. Then we finally got confirmed and all the guys wore suits and they looked sooooo funny since they usually never wear anything nice, just sweats and stuff. And I'm Lutheran by the way
