Once things got rough, one of the reporters even commented on where this crowd of people, which was there peacefully protesting all day, had suddenly come from. Bush went to Canada to ease the apparent tension that was rising between America and Canada. A number of Canadians that don't like Bush decided to peacefully protest and some idiots came out of the woodwork and decided to cause chaos.

The other day I was at Southern Trace (the uber-wealthy subdivision in Shreveport)

I saw Congressman Jim McCrery there, along with our own Tyrome/HolyGod's dad, Representative Mike Powell.

Mr. McCrery bet my friend Tyler's dad he could down 6 shots of vodka before him. He then saw me and offered me Bacardi.

Meanwhile democrats were busy protesting Bush and calling him a terrorist (and conveniently not bitching about the real terrorists, for all I know they like them and consequently Bush as well)

It wasn't so much that he didn't notice they were protesting but that he didn't even notice their presence. How do you not notice 5000 people?

The protest had been going on all day and the American media ignored it. The reporter I mentioned, Tony Harris from CNN, after the protest got violent later in the afternoon, asked another reporter Suzanne Malveaux "(H)as this protest been gathering throughout the day? I don't recall it earlier today. Or is it something that's just sort of developed over the last hour?"
