Taco john's - almost exactly like taco bell, except they serve tater tots (which can also be put in the burritos). to me, their meat and stuff tastes just like taco bell.

Taco Del Mar - very good burritos. best fish tacos

Baja fresh - fast expanding mexican place.(mexi-fresh, or something like that, a step above fast food... the chicken is actual chicken, not weird soft white chunks). Fantastic. Try the burritos enchilada style (they put sauce and cheese on the top.

I really don't think of these places as Mexican. I didn't think Baja Fresh called it self mexican but their logo does have "mexican" in it. Chipotle (McDonald's owned) doesn't claim to be. Taco John's mascot is a white guy, I think. Taco Bell has a spanish speaking dog and that's about as mexican as they get.

Anyway, the point is I think Taco John's is different than Taco Bell. It's slightly more "white". It's stuff like the white guy mascot, the tator tots, the sauces.

I have a co-worker who LOVES any kind of mexican/tex-mex so unfortunately I eat a lot of it for lunch.

KFC is actively looking for a place to open a place in Finland but they want a really good place for the first one. The new mall in Kamppi seemed good but MacDonalds out-bid them for it and as far as I know they didn't even have plans to open a new place there so they sold it on for negative profit to some third party.

When I lived in chicago, I ate chipotle all the time. There's a similar place in seattle called Qdoba, but the tacos aren't quite as good, but they have really good nachos.

If there's one thing I hate, it's McDonalds "I'm lovin' it" campaign with all the hip hop crap. They are practically the epitome of corporate America...they need to stop trying to be urban and stick to the "folks and fun". Have you ever been to a McDonalds in the city? They are empty because everyone's at the Harold's Chicken Shack.

I know hip hop has been mainstream for a while now but this is too much. Rap songs about Filet O Fishes make me sick.
