I don't know why ecstasy people don't take lessons from the meth people and make their stuff in weird shacks in the middle of nowhere.

Wow Tk thats a lot of busts... In my town we have a black dealer down the street and the next closest dealing of drugs is near a hoagie shop, but I can go down their because I am not "their color." The black dealer that lives on my street drives a Escalade.... But it seems Canada is big in Ecstasy?

This isn't drug related (or at least, as far as reports have gone, it isn't), but it's another news report and it did happen on my street just a few days ago:

            Shotgun blast damages home

EDIT: Hmm... seemed to have problems linking it. Here's the article, with credit to yorkregion.com.

            Shotgun blast damages home

Martin Derbyshire - More from this author

York Regional Police are still investigating why the glass in the front door of a Markham home was shattered by a shotgun blast early Tuesday morning.

A Larksmere Court family called police around 1:30 a.m. when a single shot was fired through the front door of its Birchmount Road and Steeles Avenue home.

The occupants, a husband, wife and their two children, aged 24 and 17, were sleeping at the time and were not injured, according to police.

A woman who answered the door of the home Tuesday said she had nothing to say about the incident.

The motive for the shooting is still under investigation and police said they have no suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7541, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

It's a popular drug, you can get it mixed with anything coke, heroin, crack anything you can think of. There is always new drugs like E that come out and die out with time I don't think Ecstasy is going to die out quickly but I don't see it being around in ten years. Personally I don't touch pills and wouldn't do anything that could kill me, the whole ecstasy thing is stupid in my opinon. Canada is big on pot, in the past 13 years the number of people who use marijuana/hash has doubled and it's all thanks to teenagers like me.

God bless you Cops. It's all the kids like you that help decrease the competition I will have in the workforce. Every time I hear about some kid who got killed while driving drunk or over dosing, I'm glad one less dumbass is left in the world (as long as innocent people were not hurt). It's the new millenium's natural selection

I would imagine that they compare the income and property tax money paid compared to the number of people in the town.

That would explain why we have fallen off by so much. The population has more than doubled since I've moved here and most of the new houses are being built over all the farmland just north of where I live. They seem to build entire communities at a time, with a new school and a couple of plazas in each. The houses are also those 4 story town houses built really close together with small backyards and not much privacy.

It seems that as more time goes by, people are moving further and further north away from the city. Whenever I drive up to our cottage I see these big houses being built on 5 acre lots and eventually small communities are going to spring up around them. I can't believe how many executives are willing to commute anywhere from 1-3 hours each way to work.

Ecstasy doesn't smell anywhere near as bad as meth as far as I know. Meth labs can smell blocks away from what I've heard.
