I don't think Willby is automatically scum because his role is the night king. His role could make him scum, but being a villain in the books/show doesn't mean you're anti town, and I am proof of that.

And to get ahead of anyone who calls me scum for roleclaiming, I consider my role to be only marginally useful because 25% of the people aren't playing, and a large majority of those left are playing fucking stupidly. In some Twilight World scenario, Exalt is the closest thing to what I consider town, but since it's Exalt that makes me even more wary of trusting him. At this point, I don't have anyone I would even consider using this action on, so I might as well be a vanilla townie. If the mafia or whatever the fuck factions we have in this game want to target me because I claimed, I consider that a win for town.

As anyone who can google knows, I am Cersei Lannister. I am the realm-aligned queen regent, who means I am a 1 shot kingmaker. I pick someone at night and they are announced as king the following day. People can still vote for a lynch, but whoever I pick will be the one who ultimately decides who gets lynched. I already asked, and I can't use it on myself. If I could I wouldn't even bother roleclaiming, but here we are. Like I said, my role can be pretty easily confirmed the day after I use it, but I guess it's up to the rest of you to believe that I am realm aligned

Yeah that was a typo, I am realm aligned. But w/e I'll full claim. It's a survivor, as long as I'm alive at the end and the king is dead then I raise you all as wights and we all win. It's probably a policy lynch though

Ok this is where I would like to start because it completely changed the direction of the thread and nobody seemed to notice

So you're telling me that backwards just happened to throw out a random role at Willby that we have not seen in the past 10+ games on this forum and he is magically correct? This looked like a huge scum slip to me that backwards already knew Willbys role but tried to make it look like he was vsing him when in reality he said too much.

Another thing I'm not so fond of is that Willby afterwards managed to get everyone to start name claiming so he can hunt down his prey easier and he just says "its ok im town i win with town"

I don't know about any of you guys but my role specifically has me tied to another player in this game (obviously being vague on purpose here)
But it pretty much translates to "a player could be looking for me" Before i go further no im not whichever King willby is referring to, im not a king at all so his claim makes me think that there are multiple roles in this game that are tied to others without knowing who the other person is. But with how fast everyone was willing to name claim it made me feel like maybe my role was one of the only other ones with this type of modifier?
One gigantic thing that sticks out to me about Willbys claim is when he said :

"but I am looking for someone called the king. Not a "normal" role. It is realm aligned though."


The reason that this is jumping out at me is that my role pm says nothing about knowing the alignment of the player connected to me. Why does Willby know "the king"s alignment? Why would that be said in his role PM? This looks like a trick to make someone feel comfortable at being labeled "confirmed" by confiding in Willby, thats a trap if i've ever seen one.

Remember during the werewolf game when Voth said he was using Wolfsbane specifically to protect? But i had a similar role to him and my role said nothing about what was used for protection so i spoke up about how he was trying to be too descriptive to try and add validity to his fake claim by adding that tidbit. In the end i was correct and all of you still believed him for some dumb reason and then later admitted that you should have lynched him when that came up.

Willby is doing the exact same thing here, he is adding too much information to try and make his fake claim descriptive and add validity. By saying that he knows the alignment of the player hes looking for. That is complete and utter bullshit and i don't believe it for a second

A Quick scum list would definitely have Willby and Backwards on it. I'm going to assume that maybe one of Voth kthx Exalt are scum trying to hide in plain sight as a vocal townie and like was mentioned before there is for sure scum in the lurkers. Even though you guys put me in that category you have every right to with how inactive ive been.

So are you telling me that in your role PM it told you the alignment of whoever your role corresponds to? Thats what i am talking about here with Willby why are you overlooking that part? My role says NOTHING about the alignment of who my role corresponds with.

That's why I said the way mine relates is different. My role will be public when I use it anyway so I'll roleclaim when I get to my next stop
