This is the mistake he made that led to me voting for him. He didn't play badly if he only made 1 mistake, but the mistake proved to be fatal. I understand why you feel differently especially with Vehicle though.

In the past couple of years, I think what you're describing has become the norm here. Not every single time, but more often than not, if your action fails to be attempted due to a roleblock, it doesn't consume the shot. If your action fails, like if the vigi tries to kill the GF, it does use the 1 shot because the action was attempted. Does that make sense? Maybe a simpler way to say it is that since Willby's action failed, he still has the shot. If his attempt had been unsuccessful instead, it would have used the shot.

I actually liked the roleclaim, and if he'd have faked results then there'd have been a chance. At least it would have provided some WIFOM material for today.

I am an advocate for keeping the game moving so it doesnt get boring for people. I said phase change in roughly 3 hours, I made it 1.5 hours. The way the voting stood and the way the posting was slowing, there was nothing that could have happened to change the outcome had I waited another 90 minutes.

With all that said, 6 people remain. This night phase will last as long or as short as it takes to get ALL of my night actions.
