Bad experience- i have like 20/20 in one eye, then 20/475 in the other. Meaning one's fine and one's a few poiunts from legal blindness.
Anyways when i went to get contacts...they put them in the wrong way (switches lenses). So you can imagine my shock when one eye is like SUPER WTF OMG and the other changed nothing

Lmfao, id pay $5 to see someone freak because of that
I have glasses, I cant get near my eyes with anything, it takes me forever even to do eye drops - i have a phobia of things close to my eyes...but glasses dont for some odd reason(theyre close to my eyes but they dont bug me so i go with them)
I don't know Suff. I'm kind of sketchy about laser-eye surgery. If they mess up you could be blinded for life.
I have reverse bifocals (used for reading things far away). Anyone know if I can get contacts for this? Or am I just stuck with the glasses for a while?

i have worn contacts for over 10 years, fucking worth it. They only bother my eyes if i wear them like 72 hours straight. I just rotate between 2 pairs of contacts (take them out at night) and i am good to go. One pair sits in solution for 24 hours so they get real clean. My contacts are only supposed to last like 1 month but this way they last 6-10 months each pair.
To all the virgins, Thanks for nothing
brookus> my grandmother died when she heard people were using numbers in their names in online games.. it was too much for her little heart
Once you get used to them it's like they're not even there. Glasses are still good for when your eyes are tired, or if you want a facial accessory. If you can get disposables, or any "soft" type contacts I'd say go for it. If they try to stick you with the hard ones, stick to glasses, the hard ones are both expensive and a pain in the ass.
I've been using soft contact lenses for nine years now. I've never had a problem with them. I basically do exactly the same as pv. I have glasses also, but I only wear them when my eyes are super tired.
Apparently I have stigmatism and can't wear contacts, or so my doctor says. Either way, I always forget to wear my glasses, so I'll be blind when I get around 30

I also have that. Your doctor is full of shit, or there's something further wrong.
