We are fighting Iran in Iraq

Originally posted by ignite igniteIraq happens to be the surrogate for us and the surrogate for Iran right now. Iraq is the surrogate for both sides, if you look at it this way. Our side reasons -- that we can disarm the weapons of mass destruction in Iran, that we can stop the export of terrorism from Iran, if we can do this, we can end the sanctuary for Al-Qaeda in Iran by succeeding in Iraq. Or at least by getting started with our success in Iraq. .http://www.trenchwars.org/forums/showthread.php?t=15100 - Gallileo's racist thread

Costly in terms of lives and treasure?

I think Ignite knows where he is talking about, and Sarien is not. The suiciders that blow up targets in Iraq aren't Iraqi's, they are Al-Qaeda members, Iran just opens their borders for anyone that is willing to move into Iraq and blow themselves up. And to show you how big those borders are:

My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

Wow, this is so wrong its hard not to just leave it be and laugh.
There is no links to Al Qaeda and Iraq, if they were any links it would have been used by Bush as a valid reason for the invasion, instead of giving a suggestion that there was (which was later denied by the US government as they realised it was a lie).
There are plenty of Iraq's more than willing to "blow themselves up" the boarders are not relevent to anything.
Basically Zer learn some fundamental facts about the subject before posting bullshit, it kinda helps.

Originally posted by IlyaZacidmouse, he said the attacks in iraq are being commited by al-qaeda members (which they are, for the most part)
thats a link, dude.
Incorrect, the attacks within Iraq are from Shiite Muslim cleric's leading an insurgency in Iraq, his band of militiamen are fighting in the cities and blowing up as much as they can. Not once has Al-Qaeda been linked to turmoil within Iraq this year.
Again, please look into the subject before just writing the first thing you saw on Fox TV before Iraq was invaded and brainwashed half you fools into believing Iraq=The world Terrorist threat.
Go read up on it, before you post on here again (Iraq - google news).

Analysts: Iraq a 'magnet' for al Qaeda...Iraq is becoming a major "magnet" for al Qaeda terrorists, who now pose more of a threat than remnants of Saddam Hussein's Baath Party, two analysts said Tuesday after a truck bomb killed 17 at the U.N. headquarters in Baghdad.
The Muqtada al-Sadr uprising which you had referred to earlier is in no way representative of the general situation (actually, even here some data hints at outside funding for his Mahdi Army). A majority of the insurgents apprehended have been radical Saudi Pan-Islamists that had snuck over the border.
"Go read up on it," indeed.

its only logical that when a country is in such a fragile state such as Iraq, terrorists will try to seize power.. and thats what they're trying to docan we please have a moment for silence for those who died from black on black violence
