Only first period was "bad", then it got better and in the end I just couldnt sit enymore. It was pure playoffs hockey, its clear without saying really that it can look boring.

Offcourse Finland gets penalty at the end of the match, just like in every match against Sweden, but this time there was no last second goal for enemy team.

Well I kinda hope that we meet Canada on final match, it would be the spot to show all ppl how good team we have. Althought winner from that Canada - Czech's match will be really good team so prolly its the same who comes against us

I thought that the U.S won the last world cup of hockey. Like in '96 or something. Maybe I'm wrong or miss reading.

Both the finnish and swedish players were exhausted after their game, Finland lucked out by playing a far worse team than the Chezhs.

I said "World Championships", not "World Cup". The Championships are run annually and usually start around the same time as the second round of the NHL playoffs. It's a much bigger deal in Europe than it is in North America because a lot of the best NHL players are still with their clubs in the playoffs while European leagues are already done so they can afford to send their best.

There was no 2000 World Cup, and the World Championships that year finished with the Czechs beating Slovakia in the final with Finland getting the bronze.
