I finished PoP - Sands of Time. That was a pretty neat game. When you mentioned BG2, which one were did you have in mind? There's "Throne of Bhaal" and "Shadows of Amn".

Throne of Baal is just the expansion pack, J. Speaking of BG2, I could mail that to you as well- I have a resolution not to even INSTALL it until I get out of high school, which would give you more than a year to finish.

-build your own character to start with
-over 60 mercs to pick from, ranging from real cheap to real expensive ones
-tons of guns, ammo, armor (no fantasy weapons) [don't play on sfx mode, it's just annoying to go kill the bugs, nothing important to get there]
-rpg style turn based combat (stats on mercs increase depending on what you use them for)
-3 levels of playing: main map (to explore and travel to any of 10 towns - even with chopper if you find it, and take out SAM sites), combat/interaction mode where you move your ppl, explore stuff, talk to diff npcs and a internet mode where you have access to laptop to recruit ppl, buy weapons and so on
-non linear play
-mercs interact (often hilarious), if they hate eachother, they can end up leaving
-tons of additional merc traits: auto weapons, night ops, knifing, hand to hand combat
-you earn cash by controlling mines (if you dont train militia in towns, they can be retaken, and even if you do have militia, you can still lose them)
-smart AI
-you can hire cheap annoying female merc, and then sell her to hillbilly boss to be his wife to get weapons and evade fighting them. She does not like that. Harrr
-create your own 6-merc squads (you can have max 18 ppl, 3 squads) in whichever fashion you like: night ops knifing experts for smooth, no shooting overtaking (AI react to noise) - you can actually sneak up right behind enemy and if he doesnt hear you, or turn in your direction, you can kill him with knife or machete. Or sniping death squads armed with long distance guns. Or bunch of crazy people (my main right now is "psycho" which means he shoots burts of fire instead of one bullet when he feels for it) that will walk in and slaughter everything they see

IF you like mythology + AoE.... Zeus Master of Olympus is fun...Its like Aoe except to build big projects you need marble/wood/sculptures...and only money to build other stuff + enemies are in other cities which you send your units to attack(you cant control those attacking) but you can control them whilst in your town defending and stuff

Runescape.

The perfect game to keep you occupied for a break off Subspace. It challenges you until you reach a certain standard, then you just get bored of owning. Try it out, J. Good luck.
