Oddworld is by far one of my favorite games of playstation one. I never tryed it on the pc. I recommend JA2 awesome game.

WH4K: Dawn of War (also currently in beta)

First, i dunno if there are Space Wolves or not, but without them, no 40k game can be any good.

Second, 40k as a RTS? A Perversion. Turn based!.. TURN BASED!

Third: If you can compile, and know anything about working in an X11 environment (or if you just want to pussy your way out and download the precompiled windows shit) check out Crossfire.
A game I recently started. It's a freeware, version of rogue/nethack that just also happens to be multiplayer, and with better than ascii graphics.
So far proving to be an absolutely stupendously great game. And since one of the main sticking points about people just happening to find it, is that usually you have to compile your client yourself.. there aren't quite as many really stupid people that play that game. It's neat.

I'm in the beta for Dawn of War. The pathing blows, the AI sucks, the units are imbalanced to shit. All in all, its a crappy game, I haven't played in a beta this bad before, lol.

Silent Storm - jagged alliance ish but WW2 and much better.
The most underrated game in the histroy of gaming I think. Just because it's made by a small firm (Nival Entertainment) from an ex-soviet country and gets no publicity whatsoever in the big and corrupt gaming markets, doesn't mean it's bad.

Was chosen Game of the Year in Finland last year I think.

Try these, and u will never need to buy a new single player game

Master Of Orion 3 (Really good single player game, its a Space Strategy Game and it takes a crapload of time to finish a match)

StarCraft (Best game ever made... EVER! The campaigns are awesome, and the multiplayer is unmatched)

Alien Vs Predator 2 + Primal Hunt (Primal Hunt = the Expansion Pack, and the single player campaigns in both games will keep you both entertained and occupied for loads of time, unless you do it on easy :down:
PS: Its awesome on multiplayer games too )

Baldurs Gate: Shadows Of Amn + Throne Of Bhaal (Best RPG ever made, will keep you occupied for at least 50 hours + its fun to try to solo it without having any companions )

Fallout 2 (a Post Nuclear RPG Game, superb game that will keep you bussy for a long time, and Fallout Tactics (not so good single player, but takes a hell of a long time to complete. Better in multiplayer on PRG style servers tough, check out on GameSpy, there are usually players who host PRG style FOT games with 10-16 players ^^))

Neverwinter Nights (The Campaign takes a long time, especially if you have the 2 expansion packs (Shadows Of Undrentide and Hordes Of The Underdark) and the graphics makes it a really interesting RPG game if you are tired of Baldurs Gate style grapichs)

Arcanum (Kind of Technology meets Magic style RPG, a great game where you can choose to be either a gunman or a magic user, or maybe a techno-phreak who uses teslacoil devices or maybe a simple swordman ^^. The character developement is as wide/more wide than Baldurs Gate 2)

One for PS2: Final Fantasy X (I played about a total of 500 hours on that game, its still fun to play ^^, takes a very long time to complete if you wanna discover all the secrets and ultimate weapons)


Well, thats about 4000 hours of playing for ya! (counting 1000 of em on Master Of Orion 3, where my longest single player game lasted 3 weeks )
