hell yeah they did. It seems like SATs are this one test that makes or breaks your whole life.

SAT just measures reasoning capacity in a pressured timed environment. There are some of us who reason a lot better when we have time to sit down and think out a problem, the results are often MUCH better than a quick fix answer you whip out in a 1-2 minute timeblock per question.

All asians are smart is a sterotype. The average asian is smarter than the average non asian isn't a stereotype, but it's probably an incorrect postulate. My assertion is that the average asian living the the US puts more effort into his studies than the average non asian. So while asian X wasn't born any smarter than dumb white boy Y, by the time they both take the SATs X does better. But he has a smaller penis.

If this was a serious discussion I'd break out a book on child psychology but for now random bullshit will do.

They go to school 8 hours a day and do homework for another 4.

plus they only study 2 languages (one compulsory) mostly so they have much more time to use on mathematics and other what I consider to be "important" subjects (whereas I study 5 languages, 3 compulsory, 2 that I just picked.)

school systems put too much importance on maths and other subjects.

im a language person (3 fluently, 1 pretty well, and a few somehow)

that doesnt mean im "dumb", just cause i suck hardcore at maths.

i think the system should be revised.
