THe real question is why isn't smoking illegal? It has no benefits of any kind and it KILLS YOU. I mean, at least alcohol has some good benefits.

it's very different, those things have no benefits and are highly addictive. Also, there's not a big enough group that would try to legalize those things, so politically, it just wouldn't happen.

if the government must classify every drug, pot should be with alcohol, not MDMA and LSD.

It has been my experience for a good five years now that pot does nothing but enhance my ability to have a good time, to think more creatively, to be more open, to be more fun-loving... and the list goes on and on. Besides, pot is such a more aesthetically pleasing plant as compared to tobacco.

You're completely right.. a lot of it makes you lame and stupid, so it should be illegal. Eating twinkies makes you fat and lazy too, also should be illegal. beer makes you more likely to drive like an asshole and get in fights, should be illegal, all fast food places should be illegal unless they go strictly vegan. Cigarettes hurt your circulitory and respiratory systems and should be illegal, Working in a coal mine gives you black lung and that definitely makes you lame.. you'd be tired all the time and probably couldn't walk up some stairs without getting winded... illegal. reality shows make people lame and stupid too, those should be illegal. Maybe even all tv except for nature programs.
