Your reply lacked an overall point. You just spewed out a lot of shite that didn't really contribute to anything, making your point hard extremely hard to discern. Back to the matter at hand. Yes, drug use CAN be a personal issue. However, you're more than likely to go out into public. This means you might be driving, eating at a food place for those munchies or some other activity. That is when the issue becomes an issue for everyone. Driving under the influence of drugs is at least as bad as driving drunk. If drugs being "victimless" is the sole basis of your arguement, it's almost like you not having an arguement in the first place.

Or at least I have yet to witness drugs that lure hapless ingesters into public situations... Did I ever say driving under the influence of drugs should be legal? Most definately not. Alcohol is legal, yet driving under the influence is not. Alcohol and driving aren't hitched, and neither are drugs and driving. If anyone ever finds a drug that forces you into the driver's seat to drive to the nearest 711 for munchies, please let me know.

Wrong again. I'd rather pay to have druggies rotting in jail than rotting on the streets. I think you also fail to realize that the black market for drugs is not violence free. People are in jail for violence and drug related crimes. I don't think those people were minding their own business. Most people smoking a joint in their own home don't get arrested. People smoking a joint in a public park do get arrested.

Are you saying if someone uses drugs they automatically lapse into decomposition? Damn, almost everyone would be falling apart. Violence? Did I ever say legalize violence against others? I don't think so. Violence does not equal drugs, and vice versa. And besides, violence arises from many other things other than drugs. Many people are rotting away in jail for simply minding their own business and being in possession of illegal substances. As for the black market... well you never really hear much about the black market on things that are legal anyways...at least I don't.

I see a lot of irrelevance attempted to be linked to drugs, somehow making them responsible. This irrelevance can be linked in the same way, with pretty much the same consistency to a horde of other things(guns, cars, gambling, religions, etc).

I am certainly stupid, but I often do cease. Yes, and that's somewhat basically what I am saying as well. Just as you could try and link the "bad" things to drugs, you can link them to basically anything else. Perhaps you should reread my posts? Perhaps I should make them more clear so they can be read in a streamlined process? Meh.

My point was that he incorrectly read what I had posted earlier. He thought I said that ALL people in jail are there for drugs and another more violent crime. I said it was possible, becuase not all drug offenders are peaceful. He tried to make it seem as though all pot smokers are happy people who would never do anything wrong. I hope that clears it up for you.
