The part about him giving a free trip to the bin ladens home was surprising.

This is a perfect example of Moore's exaggerations and half-truths.

First though, the fact that the trip was free really isn't the issue. His point was that the white house let all these bin ladens leave the country when maybe some of them might've known something useful.

The truth is that the decision to get the Bin Ladens out of the country never made it up to George Bush. After consulting the FBI, Richard Clarke made that call.
